The popular show The Traitors Ireland will soon be airing on BBC One, with just a few weeks left until the premiere.
The popular reality show has been a major topic of conversation lately. This season of the UK version is full of surprises, keeping both the contestants and the audience guessing.
The Irish version of the show was broadcast on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player last summer. Until recently, it wasn’t known when viewers in the UK would be able to watch it, but now details have been announced.
The Irish version of The Traitors will premiere on BBC One at midnight on Saturday, January 24th, with the second episode airing right after at 1:00 AM.
This will be hours after the winner of The Traitors UK season 4 is crowned.
The synopsis teases: “Twenty-four players face off in Ireland’s ultimate murder mystery game.”
Actress and comedian Siobhán McSweeney hosts this competition where 24 players try to win €50,000. The catch? Hidden among them are ‘Traitors’ who are secretly trying to steal the prize money, and players risk being ‘murdered’ or voted out along the way.
The players once again team up to complete challenges and increase the prize money. Those who make it to the end have a shot at a huge reward, but if a hidden Traitor isn’t discovered, they’ll take all the winnings for themselves.
You can already watch previous seasons of The Traitors from the US, New Zealand, and Australia on BBC iPlayer. The Irish version of the show, The Traitors Ireland, will premiere on BBC One on Saturday, January 24th.
