After a considerable wait, the much-anticipated series “Celebrity Traitors” is set to debut on our screens in the coming month. Not only the fans but also past participants are on edge, eagerly waiting to witness the intrigue that will unfold on screen.
At the start of this year, the BBC unveiled the 19 well-known personalities participating in a challenging competition with the opportunity to earn up to £100,000 for a charity of their preference.
The ensemble features notable figures such as Stephen Fry, Celia Imrie, and Niko Omilana among others. This raises curiosity about their performances under pressure and which one will shine brightest. However, it’s not just the fans who are keeping a close eye on the competition.
A handful of this year’s Traitors winners and cast have some thoughts on the matter.
It’s worth mentioning that both Leanne and Minah expressed their support for Cat Burns, who publicly enjoyed The Traitors season 3 back in this year.

In simpler terms, Leanne expressed that Cat Burns could excel as a strategic player in games. She demonstrated her strong interest during the season by making videos and offering comments, indicating that she is deeply engaged with the show. Consequently, Leanne believes Cat would perform well.
Minah, who enjoys the same show as Burns, mentioned that being a fan gives her an initial edge. However, it’s not just Burns Minah is supporting; Minah also expressed her support for Paloma Faith, who was once part of Traitors.
She expressed, “I have deep affection for her,” and added, “I can’t predict whether she’ll prove to be Loyal or Dishonest, but regardless of what she turns out to be, I stand by her.
About fellow victor Jake, he predicts that broadcaster Kate Garraway is worth keeping an eye on, given her past as a journalist. He explains, “She can pose the appropriate queries and I believe she’ll excel in the role of Faithful.
Meanwhile, Charlotte observed that Tom Daley, the Olympic athlete, might be worth keeping an eye on, as people wouldn’t suspect him due to his casual attire – specifically, his homemade knitted sweaters.
Regardless of how the celebrities choose to approach the game, it promises to be a thrilling series, as Syeda Irtizaali, Interim BBC Director of Unscripted, has already assured us that there’s no need for fans to have any concerns about this talented cast.
She teased: “Some of the things you’ll see them doing are extraordinary.”
We can’t wait!
