Capcom’s new Resident Evil game, Requiem, has been a big hit, and its success is boosting sales and interest in the entire Resident Evil series.
That’s definitely the case in the UK. Recent sales charts for physical retail show that five different Resident Evil games are currently in the top 10 best-selling titles across all gaming platforms.
Requiem remains the top-selling game, but further down the chart, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition is at number five, followed by Resident Evil 3 in seventh place, Resident Evil 2 in ninth, and the Resident Evil Generation Pack—a collection for the Switch 2—at number ten.
Apart from that last one, all these Resi titles are selling the vast majority of copies on PS5.
Capcom has multiple games in the top 10, with Monster Hunter Wilds currently at number six. It’s unusual for any company besides Nintendo to have such a strong presence on the UK’s retail game chart.
Here’s the latest top 10 in full (physical sales only).
