If you’re searching for a small game that can satisfy your comfort craving on PlayStation 5, perhaps Starsand Island could be the solution.
In this freshly-released trailer, shared by Gematsu following the indie gaming event Bit Summit, we delve into the movement and personalization aspects that will be highlighted in the complete version of the game.
In this game, there are numerous options for transportation: You’ll notice from the integrated video that you can purchase a car, ride a scooter, put on rollerblades, utilize a skateboard, or even soar through the picturesque anime landscape using paragliding.

Here’s what the official press release says:
In this game, players can explore an island on various modes of transportation like skateboards, rollerblades, cars, scooters (some with sidecars), and even a paraglider. They’ll traverse through grassy fields, colorful forests, sandy shores, and the sparkling sea. Additionally, players can use amphibious vehicles to smoothly move between land and water, broadening their journey’s scope.
This game, often referred to as a spiritual voyage, offers farming, exploration, and additional elements. Moreover, you’ll have the chance to form friendships with up to 40 or more non-player characters (NPCs), and indeed, some of them can even join you for a ride in your vehicle.
Seed Lab Developers have hinted they’ll reveal additional details on the multiplayer aspect prior to the game’s release this year. Be sure to stay tuned as we eagerly await these updates! So far, we are quite impressed with what we’ve glimpsed.
