The TV series, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, has been given a fourth season renewal, which will mark the final season for Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride in this spinoff of The Walking Dead. AMC Networks made this announcement during their panel at San Diego Comic-Con in Hall H on Friday. The fans were given an exclusive sneak peek of the trailer for Daryl Dixon’s season 3, set to air on AMC and AMC+ starting September 7th.

Subsequently, Daryl and Carol venture towards the beleaguered town of Solaz del Mar, a place where Daryl remarks they seem to take up everyone else’s battles. In this instance, their mission is to free the citizens of Solaz del Mar by assassinating the King of Spain.

In my perspective, during season 3 of “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon,” I follow Carol and myself on our trek homewards, where our hearts long to be with the people we cherish. Our road back becomes more elusive, veering us off course into remote territories with constantly shifting and alien surroundings. Along the way, we encounter the diverse impacts of the zombie outbreak.

On Friday, it was revealed that the production of Daryl Dixon’s eighth season, part of season 4, will commence towards the end of this month in Spain. The entire final season will be shot and set in and around Madrid, with various locations such as Bilbao, Galicia, Andalucía, Segovia region, Toledo, and the Community of Madrid being featured.

Over two remarkable series, lasting nearly two decades, Norman and Melissa have brought to life two of television’s most iconic characters. The journey of Daryl and Carol, filled with challenge, survival, hope, and friendship, has left an indelible mark on fans since the debut of ‘The Walking Dead.’ We are excited to reveal the third season of ‘Daryl’ this fall and start filming the fourth and final season in Spain.

In 2023, the initial season of the series centered around Daryl Dixon, titled The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol, made its debut on AMC+. This premiere turned out to be the most-watched ever on the platform, breaking records for any show in terms of viewership. Moreover, it stood as a significant draw for subscribers not only in the United States but also in Spain. Interestingly, the second season of this series, which saw the reunion of Reedus and McBride in France, was AMC+’s most-watched sophomore season of all time.
