The Walking Dead icon’s new thriller confirms release date with chilling first look trailer

The release of the show’s trailer also revealed the scheduled air date for the news. The footage presents Lincoln’s character John, who seems to face turbulence in his life due to his new neighbor Tommy, played by Ewen Bremner.

The trailer additionally provides glimpses of John’s wife Fiona, portrayed by Indira Varma, who is initially mistrustful of Tommy, and Tommy’s wife Rebecca, enacted by Eve Myles, who also serves as the local vicar in the Scottish hamlet of Coldwater.

As a movie enthusiast, I’d put it this way: “In the heat of my suppressed anger exploding in calamitous fashion, I find myself surprisingly bound by a fresh connection – little do I know that my ally, Tommy, is concealing chilling mysteries within himself.

After a string of disturbing events begin unfolding, it’s then that John starts questioning the true identity of Tommy.

This narrative follows an ordinary man in an everyday marriage, but everything changes when he encounters a perilous predicament. It’s a tale about this man unearthing unexpected strength within himself, just as he gets ensnared by someone extremely dangerous.

In the latest production, Lincoln reappeared on the screen, resurrecting his character Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead, in the 2024 spin-off titled “The Ones Who Live.” During this show, he had a chance to work alongside Danai Gurira once more, portraying her character Michonne.

In the upcoming scenario, Myles is set to feature prominently in a fresh BBC thriller titled “The Guest.” Her character portrays a wealthy woman who finds herself embroiled in a suspenseful cat-and-mouse chase with her new housekeeper, played by Gabrielle Creevy.
