The creator of The West Wing is developing a new political drama for Netflix, almost twenty years after The West Wing finished its run on NBC.
According to Deadline, John Wells will be producing a new political drama for Netflix called The Aisle. The show centers on the driven young staffers working for a new senator, as they try to make a difference in American democracy. It also explores the complicated and often scandalous personal lives they lead in Washington D.C., where ambition and power come with a cost.
