The popular series The White Lotus is getting ready to film its fourth season and will be moving away from the luxury hotels that have been a key part of the show since it began.
The White Lotus, created by Mike White, is a series that changes location each season, focusing on a new group of wealthy and unaware vacationers at a different resort.
After visiting Hawaii and Sicily in previous seasons, this season of the show took us to Koh Samui, Thailand, and appeared to resolve the storylines involving Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge), Belinda (Natasha Rothwell), and Greg (Jon Gries).
Season 4’s storyline is currently up for debate, but Variety suggests the next season will likely take place on the French Riviera.
Surprisingly, industry sources report that HBO will not be continuing its relationship with The Four Seasons hotels, which have served as the locations for the White Lotus resort in all three seasons so far.
The next season of the show might have a slightly new style, but it will still be just as grand and luxurious as before.
As a huge fan, I’m so excited for the new season! While they haven’t announced specific locations yet, it sounds like they’ll be filming all over the French Riviera, and also spending time in Paris. It reminds me of how they filmed season 3, bouncing between the beautiful beaches of Koh Samui and the bustling city of Bangkok – which was a fantastic way to showcase different sides of the story.
I’m so excited to hear the production team is considering Paris for their next event! They’ve been looking at two amazing locations, and I’m really hoping one of them works out – it would be incredible to see it happen there. They’re both really popular spots, so landing either one would be a huge win.

According to Variety, the potential buyers are considering two luxurious Paris hotels: the five-star Le Lutetia in Saint-Germain des Pres, and the Ritz Paris, widely known as one of the most opulent hotels in the world.
As a lifelong cinema and culture fan, I’ve always been fascinated by places with a real past, and both Le Lutetia and the Ritz absolutely deliver. It’s incredible to think about the legends who’ve walked through their doors – I mean, Charlie Chaplin and Ernest Hemingway at Le Lutetia, and then Coco Chanel and F. Scott Fitzgerald at the Ritz! It really feels like stepping back in time when you visit, knowing all that history is right there.
We should have more specific information soon about season 4 of The White Lotus, which is planned to begin filming next year. Casting announcements will follow.
The White Lotus seasons 1-3 are available on Sky and NOW.
