These Photos of King Charles DJing Will Have You Spinning Out

King Charles III didn’t pass up a chance to get on the ones and twos.

During a visit to Aviva Studios in Manchester, England on March 16th, the British monarch surprised attendees by trying his hand at DJing. The event was held to support his King’s Trust charity.

During his visit, the 77-year-old received a DJ lesson from Christian St. Louis, a young member of an organization that helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds develop creative skills and find jobs. He then had a chance to try out his new skills.

Charles was pictured with Christian, smiling as he used the turntable. Another photo showed the king concentrating while being shown how to operate the controls.

Following the royal’s visit, Christian shared his “wicked” experience with the king.

In a recent interview with People magazine, the 22-year-old explained how he taught someone to smoothly transition between songs using the fade-in/fade-out function. He was impressed by the person’s enthusiasm, saying they seemed genuinely happy to be there and actively engaged with everyone around them.

He seemed much calmer and more collected than I expected. He reminded me of a wise grandparent – someone you look up to and respect. That’s the kind of feeling I got from him.

Charles recently shared his musical preferences again, following last year’s Apple Music 1 Radio special, The King’s Room. He highlighted artists he loves, such as Diana Ross, Kylie Minogue, Raye, Bob Marley and the Wailers, and Beyoncé, as part of the lead-up to the 50th anniversary of his charity.

Charles showed his appreciation for Beyoncé’s support of the King’s Trust (formerly the Prince’s Trust) by including her and Jay-Z’s 2003 song “Crazy in Love” on his playlist.

Charles explained he chose the song because the artist is incredibly talented. She originally performed it at Prince’s Trust Fashion Rocks in London’s Royal Albert Hall in 2003. He then noted that the King’s Trust international is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and the UK branch, now called the King’s Trust UK, will mark its 50th anniversary next year.

I wanted to share a memorable musical moment that represents the years of support for my youth trust. This song, ‘Crazy in Love’ by the incredibly talented Beyoncé, is from one of our most dedicated supporters.

Oh my gosh, can you believe it? Andrew – I mean, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, though I’ll always think of him as Prince Andrew – was arrested on his 66th birthday, February 19th! It’s all over the news, and it’s about suspected wrongdoing while he was in a public role. I’ve been following his story for years, and this is just… shocking, honestly. I never thought I’d see the day!

The arrest happened while there was new discussion about Andrew’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew maintains he has done nothing wrong.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have publicly expressed their sympathy for the survivors of abuse committed by Jeffrey Epstein, following the release of court documents related to the case.

A spokesperson for The Prince and Princess shared a statement with MS NOW on February 9th, confirming they are very worried about the ongoing disclosures. Their primary concern is with supporting those affected.

Marius Borg Høiby, the oldest son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit and stepson of Crown Prince Haakon, was arrested on February 1st for assault, threatening someone with a knife, and breaking a restraining order, according to a statement from Oslo police to The Associated Press.

The 29-year-old man, who isn’t a royal and doesn’t have any official responsibilities, will be held for up to four weeks due to concerns he might commit further crimes. This follows a decision by the Oslo district court. His lawyer, Petar Sekulic, said they are thinking about challenging the court’s ruling.

Høiby is scheduled to appear in court on February 3rd, facing charges related to four alleged rapes that occurred between 2018 and 2024, along with accusations of domestic violence and violating a protective order.

In a statement to the Associated Press, the accused man’s lawyers said he strongly denies all claims of sexual abuse and most of the accusations involving violence.

I was so thrilled to hear that Flora Vesterberg is expecting her first child! As a longtime admirer of the royal family, it’s wonderful news – Flora is Princess Alexandra, a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, granddaughter, so it feels extra special. She and her husband, Timothy Vesterberg, must be absolutely delighted!

She announced on Instagram on January 19th that she and Timothy are expecting their first child, saying they are “over the moon” with excitement.

I was there at the High Court in London on January 19th as Harry began his legal battle against Associated Newspapers. This is the company behind the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, and Mail Online, and he’s alleging they used some really questionable and unethical methods to gather news. It’s expected to be a long trial, lasting several weeks, and I’m following it closely.

Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley, and Sadie Frost are also joining the lawsuit against the publishing company.

Associated Newspapers has “vigorously denied” the claims, according to the BBC.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marked their tenth anniversary as a couple by posting a sweet, black-and-white video of them dancing at home.

The couple shared a sweet video set to Olivia Dean’s song “So Easy (To Fall In Love),” and revealed it was filmed by their 4-year-old daughter, Lilibet. Meghan, who also shares 6-year-old son Archie with Harry, gave their daughter credit in the caption of the January 16th Instagram post, writing, “cred: our daughter.”

The couple posted an old photo from when they first started dating. It showed them hugging during a trip to a beautiful outdoor location.

“When 2026 feels just like 2016….,” Meghan wrote in the caption. “You had to be there.”

Queen Sofia of Spain’s sister passed away on January 15th at the age of 83, according to an announcement from the Greek royal family’s office.

The Greek Royal Family announced with great sadness the death of Princess Irene, a cherished sister and aunt, who passed away on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at 11:40 AM local time at Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, surrounded by family.

The funeral for her took place on January 19th at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens, and she was buried at the Royal Cemetery of Tatoi.

On her 44th birthday, the Princess of Wales shared a message on the power of nature to heal.

In a recent video, Kate reflected on winter’s unique ability to bring peace and self-reflection. She described how the season’s quiet stillness allows us to slow down, see ourselves more clearly, and connect with the natural world around us – to hear its subtle rhythms and discover our inner selves.

I’ve been thinking about how thankful I am. It’s like a gentle release of worries, a cleansing of the soul that allows us to accept our sadness and truly appreciate being alive. Nature is a calming presence, offering guidance and helping us find peace and healing.

Oh my goodness, I nearly screamed when I saw her! It was the Princess of Wales’ first time being seen in public all year – 2026, can you believe it?! She was with Prince William at Charing Cross Hospital in London, and it was just…everything. Seeing her there, supporting all the amazing doctors and nurses, it meant so much. Especially because it’s been almost a year since she shared the incredible news about being in remission. Honestly, I’m just so happy to see her doing well and back out there!
