A new Rayman game is likely a ways off, but fans can enjoy a beautiful art book in the meantime.
Into the Glade of Dreams: The Art & Design of Rayman is a new book created through a partnership between Ubisoft, Cook and Becker, and Lost in Cult.
As a huge Rayman fan, I was so excited to get this book! It’s a really thick hardcover – over 250 pages! – and it’s amazing to see how the character and the games have changed over the years. It starts with the very first sketches and pixel art, and then shows how everything developed into the beautiful, colorful worlds we see in the newer Rayman games. It’s a fantastic look at the game’s history.
This collection showcases unique concept art, character designs, and behind-the-scenes stories from the creators of Rayman and his world, offering a detailed look at how the games were developed.
So, this game guide comes in two versions. The regular one is $54.95, which is pretty standard. But then there’s a collector’s edition for $149, and it’s seriously cool! It comes with a special box, little Rayman feet sticking out, plus a magnetic ring, a bunch of character magnets, and an exclusive art print. Definitely tempting if you’re a big fan!
You can pre-order both items now, but the pre-order period ends on Christmas 2025. The collector’s edition will only be sold during this pre-order window, so don’t miss out!
This book isn’t scheduled to be released until Fall 2026, so it will be a bit of a wait, but it seems like a beautiful addition to any fan’s collection – perfect for a coffee table!
