Some monitors are good, but Dell’s new UltraSharp 52, unveiled at CES 2026, is truly exceptional.
This monitor is a groundbreaking display – the first of its kind with a massive 52-inch ultrawide curved screen and an incredibly detailed 6K (6144×2560) resolution, all at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. While it doesn’t use OLED technology, which some may prefer, it offers excellent picture quality with IPS Black technology, delivering a high 2,000:1 contrast ratio without the risk of screen burn-in.
The screen has a light sensor that intelligently adjusts brightness and color for comfortable viewing, and it’s officially certified to reduce potentially harmful blue light by TÜV Rheinland. This is especially helpful if you spend a lot of time looking at screens.
Dell says its new 52-inch 6K screen provides a significantly sharper and more detailed picture than using a combination of two 27-inch QHD monitors and a 43-inch 4K monitor. In fact, it has over 61,000 more pixels and a 25

This monitor helps keep your desk tidy with a built-in Thunderbolt 4 hub and KVM switch. It can also charge your laptop – up to 140W – and connect to as many as four computers at the same time.
Dell’s new UltraSharp 52 (U5226KW) monitor is designed for professionals like day traders, data scientists, and engineers – anyone who needs a lot of screen space. However, it comes with a high price tag of $2,899.99 with a stand, or $2,799.99 without. You can purchase it now on Dell’s website.
Daniel Rubino, the Editor-in-Chief at Windows Central, had a chance to test the monitor before its official release. His initial impression really captures what makes it special.
I was really impressed by the Dell Ultrasharp 52. It’s more than just a monitor – it feels like a complete workstation. The picture is incredibly sharp with its 6K resolution, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything look so smooth. The colors are fantastic thanks to the IPS Black technology, offering a much deeper contrast than I usually see. But what really sets it apart is all the ports – it’s like Dell built a docking station, a KVM switch, and even an IT department right into the back of the display!
