Its recent popularity, especially with streaming, led to Hocus Pocus 2 in 2022, bringing back the Sanderson sisters almost 30 years later. Disney isn’t finished with the story yet – a third movie is planned, with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy all expected to return. Bette Midler, who plays Winnie Sanderson, recently shared on Watch What Happens Live that she’s read a script and that some details are still being worked out, suggesting there could be more cast reunions. While not everything is finalized, she told Andy Cohen she’s “very excited” about what’s coming next.

I received a script that had some really strong moments, and I was immediately enthusiastic. Now, we’re working through the practical details – figuring out the overall direction of the project, where it will be filmed, and the budget.
