As a big fan of games like Portal, I’ve always thought ChromaGun was a really great option when you’re looking for something similar. It’s just a fun, solid puzzle experience!
The sequel, ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard, looks like it’s stepping things up in basically every way.
The game’s latest trailer reveals the release date, and it’s not too far off:
Similar to the popular Portal games, ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard takes place in a strange science facility where you’ll complete a series of puzzles and uncover a story as you progress.

In this game, you advance by coloring objects in each room a specific way. It begins easily, but the puzzles soon become much more challenging.
As the trailer points out, the game includes a colorblind mode that uses symbols to represent each color, making it easier to tell them apart.
If you enjoy puzzle games with a bit of humor and smart challenges, this one looks promising! It’s scheduled to launch on February 12, 2026, for PlayStation 5.
