Tiger Woods is dealing with a scary incident.
According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the professional golfer with 82 PGA Tour wins was in a car accident on March 27th around 2 p.m. near Jupiter Island, Florida. The vehicle reportedly rolled over.
Oh my gosh, I just heard about the accident! Apparently, it involved two cars, but thankfully, everyone is okay! A source at Martin County Fire Rescue told WHAM that no one was seriously hurt. One person is doing alright, they’re stable, and the other one… well, they didn’t even want to go to the hospital! Can you believe it? I’m just so relieved everyone’s mostly fine!
TopMob News has reached out to Tiger’s rep for comment but hasn’t heard back.
This 50-year-old has been in a serious car accident before. Back in February 2021, he badly injured his leg in a crash while on his way to Rolling Hills Country Club in Los Angeles for a filming session with GOLFTV and Golf Digest.
Let me tell you, the details coming out about the accident are quite concerning. Reports show he was speeding – well over the limit, actually – when it happened. The collision report I’ve seen indicates he was briefly knocked unconscious, and sustained some pretty serious injuries. We’re talking cuts to his jaw, bruised ribs, and fractures in his leg and fibula, plus a possible ankle injury. It’s a lot to deal with, and recovery will definitely take time.
Tiger Woods (born Eldrick Tont Woods) was taken to the hospital and had extensive surgery on his lower right leg and ankle, according to his TGR Foundation.
He then spent months working on his recovery.
He shared with Golf Digest that despite facing difficult times and challenges, he continued to improve and was able to walk again.

Tiger Woods played in the Masters Tournament again in 2022. This year, the father of Charlie Woods, 17, and Sam Woods, 18 (with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren), is still undecided about whether he will participate in the Masters in April.
He explained on March 24th that he’s been working hard to get back in shape, but his body doesn’t bounce back as quickly as it used to when he was younger. He’s eager to play in the tournament he’s loved since he was 19, and he’s determined to be there no matter what.
