TikToker Becca Bloom Claps Back at Criticism of Her Wealth

Becca Bloom is feeling thorny.

The TikTok creator, known to her followers as the “queen of RichTok” because of her videos showcasing her luxurious life, responded to backlash after posting a video about social inequality. People online had criticized her for addressing the issue given her own wealth.

In a video posted on November 13th, Becca (whose full name is Rebecca Ma) discussed how her husband, David Pownall, covers all their expenses, describing it as simply the least he could do given their relationship.

She pointed out that men often only support equality when it gives them a financial advantage. They don’t seem to care about equality when it comes to things like fair pay, workplace safety, sharing emotional burdens, or the expenses associated with societal beauty standards. She argued that true equality means shared responsibility, and until society achieves overall equality, it’s unfair to selectively embrace it only when it allows individuals to lessen their own contributions.

Some viewers criticized Becca for speaking out about inequality, pointing out that her TikTok videos often showcase a very wealthy lifestyle. One person commented, “I won’t take a lecture on equality from someone so rich – not now and not ever.”

Becca replied sharply, “It’s a classic tactic: when you can’t argue with what someone says, you attack them instead. You just proved my point.”

When someone mentioned Becca’s parents are successful tech founders and jokingly suggested she ask them for money, the 27-year-old responded, saying she was being cyberbullied.

Becca replied, saying that if you had any idea about her or her family, you wouldn’t have even considered asking that question.

Honestly, I was SO thrilled to see people finally recognizing what this whole thing was really about! It wasn’t just drama, it was about how unfairly men and women are treated, and she totally brought that to the surface. I mean, she showed everyone the double standards, and it was amazing to see so many people get it and actually applaud her for speaking up!

One fan exclaimed, “It’s great to see someone with a following address this!” Another praised it as the creator’s best video yet.

Another viewer commented that this is exactly why she’s the most popular wealthy creator on TikTok, praising the substance and quality of her videos.
