McKenna Barry is opening up about her pregnancy loss.
We’re heartbroken to share that our baby didn’t make it. It’s incredibly painful, and no words can express how much we’re grieving. Despite the sadness, we’re grateful for the joy we felt during the past month, and we find comfort in knowing our love for our baby was immense.
McKenna emphasized she did not regret sharing her pregnancy news.
They expressed how much they’ll always treasure the joy of being parents to their child.
The 31-year-old continued to share a sweet message for the “little life” they had lost.
Writing to her baby, she shared, ‘You were so tiny, but the emptiness you’ve left feels enormous. We’ll always miss imagining the life we could have had with you. I’m heartbroken that I never got to hold you, but I take comfort in believing Jesus is holding you now, and we’ll be together again in Heaven.’
On December 2nd, McKenna shared a heartfelt video of her telling her husband they were expecting a baby, a moment they had been praying for for 2371 days. She didn’t say how far along she was, but on December 14th, she affectionately referred to the baby as “our little blueberry.”

The day after announcing her pregnancy, McKenna revealed it had been a long journey, sharing a video of herself taking the at-home test.
It was a truly special moment, and I was the only one who knew at first,” she shared. “I was overwhelmed with emotion – you can probably tell by my expression! When I saw the word ‘pregnant,’ I felt a wonderful chill run through me. It was like my body was in shock, realizing this was finally happening for us after six and a half years of hoping and waiting.
