TikToker Mikayla Nogueira Debuts Surprising New Haircut

Mikayla Nogueira is pressing play on a new chapter.

The beauty influencer had a dramatic makeover, trading her long, light brown hair for a striking black bob, making her almost look like a different person.

Mikayla revealed in a TikTok video on November 17th that her new hairstyle was a major change, even surprising herself. ‘I barely recognize myself,’ she said, adding that it would take some time to adjust to the look.

She got a chic, layered haircut that hits right above her jawline, along with soft, wispy bangs and pieces that frame her face. The 27-year-old was thrilled with her new look and shared what she loved most about the transformation.

She said she loves how easily she can style it and show off her piercings. She really loves her piercings, and feels they make her eyes stand out. Since she doesn’t have much hair, styling it is quick and easy – it only takes about five minutes.

Honestly, I was really craving a change and needed to lighten things up – literally! I decided it was time for a big chop. It’s been a good two or three years since I’ve had a significant haircut, and this is definitely the shortest my hair has ever been. It feels so good to switch things up!

While applying makeup, Mikayla talked about her recent haircut, explaining her reasons for the change and why she decided to go back to black hair.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my recent hair change, and honestly, I understand the confusion! But I needed a shake-up, a way to reconnect with myself. I’ve been feeling a little lost lately, and this felt like a return to the Mikayla I truly know – the real me. It was a personal reminder of who I am, and what I’m about.

She admitted that constant pressure to meet beauty standards had really affected her, and she’s working on overcoming it. She explained that being told constantly what to change about her appearance by so many people isn’t good for her well-being.

The TikToker—who is focusing on how she can feel more confident—urged her followers to follow suit.

She firmly stated she would do whatever makes her happy. And if you feel pressured by unrealistic beauty standards, she encourages you to prioritize your own choices as well.

Once she finished her smoky brown makeup, she stepped back and said, “Honestly, this looks amazing! And the hair really pulls it all together.”

Mikayla often changes her hair, and her newest style is actually her second big change in just three months. She recently switched from her well-known black hair to a chestnut-brown shade.

She revealed in an August TikTok that she’d been dyeing her hair black for more than a decade and was ready for a change. She mixed three custom shades to achieve her desired color, calling the result ‘stunning’ and a welcome departure from her usual jet-black hair.
