Tineke “Tini” Younger is continuing to grieve a tragic loss.
A month after sharing the heartbreaking news that her and husband Antoine Wright Jr.’s twin daughter, Arya, had passed away shortly after birth due to a placental abruption, the TikTok chef provided an update on their surviving twin daughter, L.
Tini shared on Instagram on January 2nd that her baby, L, is doing well and is much loved. She also mentioned they often talk about her older sister, Arya, and believe Arya interacts with her little sister even in her dreams, alongside photos of the newborn.
The 24-year-old added, “L loves to smile in her sleep.”
I was really glad to hear Tini talk about stepping back from social media. It’s been tough since she shared the news about Arya back in November, and she needed some space – which is totally understandable. It’s good to know she’s keeping us updated when she feels ready.
She wasn’t sure when she’d be able to return, explaining that she was still recovering both emotionally and physically. She’d experienced some complications after giving birth and was continuing to heal from those.
Tini concluded her message by adding, “Thank you to everyone who sends love.”
The former Next Level Chef contestant, who revealed she was pregnant in June – almost seven months after marrying Antoine – also shared details about the birth of her twins with her fans, including the heartbreaking story of her daughter’s passing. She made sure to express her gratitude for their support.
She shared on Instagram November 26th that they had reached almost 36 weeks of pregnancy, posting photos with her partner, Antoine, holding their baby, Arya. Sadly, she explained that a placental abruption occurred, and they lost their daughter just before reaching full term.
Despite the tragic news, Tini assured her fans that Baby L was doing well.
I’m so happy to share some wonderful news! Arya’s twin sister is doing remarkably well – she’s breathing independently, which is fantastic. Both girls are absolutely beautiful, and Arya will always be remembered and celebrated. Their parents are committed to ensuring her sister knows she has a beautiful twin, and that bond will always be cherished.
