Edia revealed that their new survival horror adventure game, Kigetsu no Yoru, is coming to the Nintendo Switch on January 29, 2026, in Japan.
Here is an overview of the game, via Edia:
Okay, so imagine this: I’m a high school kid who suddenly wakes up in this super creepy, old-fashioned village in Japan. But things are *bad*. Like, a mass murder is happening, and I’m right in the middle of it. The catch? I keep reliving the same day over and over again, dying each time. It’s basically a survival horror game where I have to figure out what’s going on and make the right choices to stay alive. Every time I loop back, I get to know the villagers better – and things get *complicated*. The more I learn, the more I realize how deep the secrets are and how inescapable the danger becomes. Slowly, through repeating the same day, I start to piece together the village’s weird customs, hidden truths, and ultimately, *why* someone is doing this.
When the waning moon fades, will you be greeted by hope… or despair?
