Tini Younger Slams Claims That Her Mac and Cheese Recipe is Stolen

Tineke “Tini” Younger isn’t mincing words with her critics.

Just a day after sharing personal news about the loss of one of her twin daughters, Arya, TikTok chef Tini spoke out about her annoyance with people online who claimed she copied her famous mac and cheese recipe. Her husband is Antoine Wright Jr.

She started a post on Instagram Stories on January 3rd by saying, ‘Honestly, this isn’t even a big deal—it’s just mac and cheese. But that recipe is originally mine!’

Responding to online rumors that she made money from a recipe originally created by her husband’s family, she explained that she actually taught Antoine’s mother how to make the dish, rather than the other way around.

She explained that her mac and cheese recipe wasn’t from Antoine’s mom, and she actually has a video tutorial she made for her in-laws to teach them how to make it. She thinks people are more likely to believe a recipe when it comes from someone other than the person who created it.

She also criticized those who are spreading false information about her job, especially as she continues to grieve the loss of her daughter, who tragically died shortly after birth in November due to a placental abruption.

She also said to those creating videos about the issue with mac and cheese, ‘I’m happy it’s a problem for you, and I wish it was my problem.’

Tini expressed strong anger towards those who were referencing her late daughter in a trivial online dispute, accusing them of exploiting the situation for views and wishing them harm.

Tini spoke publicly shortly after revealing details about life with her and Antoine’s new baby, nicknamed L, while they are also coping with a family loss.

Tini shared on Instagram on January 2nd that her newborn, L, is doing well and is much loved. She also mentioned they talk about her older sister, Arya, every day, and believe Arya interacts with her little sister even in her dreams.

She also added, “L loves to smile in her sleep.”

The former contestant on Next Level Chef also shared news about why she’s been taking a break from social media after the passing of Arya.

She wasn’t sure when she’d be able to return, explaining she was still recovering both emotionally and physically. She’d experienced some complications after giving birth and was still working through them.

Tini concluded her message by adding, “Thank you to everyone who sends love.”
