Tinsel Town cast: Who stars with Kiefer Sutherland in Sky Christmas movie?

Sky Cinema has made it a tradition to release a new, original Christmas movie each year, and their newest one is their most star-packed yet.

In the charming film Tinsel Town, Kiefer Sutherland plays Bradley Mack, a former Hollywood leading man. He unexpectedly experiences quirky British Christmas customs when he takes on a role in a small village’s amateur pantomime production.

While adjusting to this unique acting challenge, he encounters a diverse and memorable cast, featuring well-known actors like Rebel Wilson, Derek Jacobi, and Danny Dyer. The cast also includes a special appearance by Theodora Williams, Robbie Williams’s daughter, who is making her first acting debut.

Kiefer Sutherland plays Bradley Mack

Bradley Mack is a famous action movie star known for his large ego. He’s shocked when his popular movie series is suddenly cancelled, leading him to an unexpected job: playing a role in a quirky, local pantomime production of Cinderella in a small English village.

You probably recognize Kiefer Sutherland from his famous role as Jack Bauer in the TV show 24, or perhaps as President Kirkman in Designated Survivor. He’s also been in several popular films, including Stand By Me, The Lost Boys, A Few Good Men, A Time to Kill, Phone Booth, and more recently, as Juror #2. He comes from a Hollywood family – his father was the well-known actor Donald Sutherland.

Rebel Wilson plays Jill

Jill is the choreographer for the production – she’s a bit quirky and very direct. Bradley starts to feel a connection with her.

You probably recognize Rebel Wilson from her funny roles in movies like Bridesmaids and the Pitch Perfect films. She’s also been in Isn’t It Romantic, How to Be Single, Jojo Rabbit, and the movie musical Cats. More recently, she’s appeared in The Deb and Bride Hard.

Matilda Firth plays Emma

Who is Emma? Bradley’s daughter, with whom he’s desperate to reconnect.

Alice Eve plays Grace

Maria Friedman plays Brenda

Who is Brenda? The actress playing the Fairy Godmother in the panto.

You might recognize Maria Friedman from her successful career in musical theatre. She’s won three Olivier Awards and been nominated for five more. If you watch British television, you may also remember her as Elaine Peacock on the soap opera EastEnders, where she appeared between 2014 and 2017.

Danny Dyer plays Kieron

Who is Kieron? Jill’s ex-husband, who is something of a bully.

Many people will recognize Danny Dyer from his acting roles. He’s appeared in films like The Football Factory and Human Traffic, and he’s well-known for playing Mick Carter in EastEnders from 2013 to 2022. Asim Chaudhry plays Danny

Who is Danny? One of the stars of the panto – playing the other ugly step-sister.

You probably recognize Asim Chaudhry from his role as Chabuddy G in the comedy series People Just Do Nothing, which he also helped create. He’s also appeared in shows like Taskmaster, Hoff the Record, The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, Industry, and Black Mirror.

Meera Syal plays Cassandra

Who is Cassandra? The director of the panto.
