Today, THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games unveiled a preliminary plan for the development of Titan Quest 2, giving us an idea of how the newly launched action-RPG will progress over the following months. While specific launch dates for each content update haven’t been set yet, the developers aim to roll out significant updates approximately every three months. Additionally, they plan to regularly release smaller updates for bug fixes and balance adjustments more frequently.
In the upcoming period, Titan Quest 2’s early access schedule anticipates the addition of a fresh chapter in the campaign, a character creator with enhanced customization options for our avatar, and a new expertise that appears to revolve around a character clad in leather armor and armed with a hammer – though its official name remains unknown.

In the FAQ video available for viewing (found below), Balint Marczin, a key designer, provides extra details about the strategy the development team plans to employ while creating the eagerly awaited sequel.
Initially, you should know that Titan Quest II won’t have microtransactions as part of its initial design. However, additional premium expansions or downloadable content might become available following the game’s official release.
As I’m typing this up, I’m thrilled to share that we, the passionate team behind this game, are working diligently towards releasing our much-anticipated 1.0 version sometime toward the end of 2026.
Initially, the title is priced at either $29.99 USD, €29.99 EUR, or an amount equivalent to these values in your region. However, when it officially launches, its price will rise to $49.99 USD or €49.99 EUR, depending on the currency used in your location.
Mounts are not being designed due to the significant influence they could have on game flow, movement, and battle strategies.
The developer hasn’t decided on the exact number of masteries for the complete game just yet, but they anticipate that there will be at minimum six.
Just like it’s yet to disclose its plans for the final chapter, it’s working on creating the endgame content for TQII within its own teams. Further updates are expected in due time.
The early access plan for Titan Quest II provides a clearer look at the game’s sequel, which was unexpectedly launched during THQ Nordic’s Digital Showcase earlier this month. Currently playable on PC, it will also be released on consoles once its version 1.0 update is out.
