Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley Give Update on Chloe Chrisley

Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley know best when it comes to raising a teen.

Since their youngest child, Chloe Chrisley, turned thirteen in November, the couple have been very busy.

I just love watching Savannah grow up! On the latest Chrisley Confessions 2.0 podcast, Todd shared how much her personality is really blossoming now that she’s thirteen. He and Julie were saying how you can see her becoming more and more herself every single day, and it’s just wonderful to witness.

Echoing her husband’s sentiments about their youngest, Julie added, “That teenage personality.”

Chloe, the daughter of Todd Chrisley’s son Kyle and his former partner Angela Johnson, has been a bit talkative lately, her parents say. They’re also dealing with the typical adjustments that come with her becoming a teenager and exploring a more glamorous style.

Todd joked that his daughter was becoming a bit sassy now that she’s thirteen. She’s really gotten into styling her hair – straightening, blow-drying, and going to the salon for special treatments.

According to the Chrisley Knows Best stars—who adopted Chloe in 2016—makeup is a big issue. 

Todd remembered telling Chloe, “If you get a cat eye makeup look at thirteen, I’ll add makeup to your other eye to match.” He also said, “I told her she wasn’t actually applying eyeliner, whatever she was using.”

Julie, who has three children – Savannah, 28, Chase, 29, and Grayson, 19 – with Todd, isn’t doing her makeup routine by herself. Savannah has been helping her with shopping for products.

Julie explained that they recently bought a lot of new makeup for Chloe as a Christmas gift because her current shades didn’t quite suit her. It ended up costing around $750! Savannah helped Chloe learn how to apply the makeup, and she looked great – her skin is naturally beautiful, so it wasn’t really necessary. But Julie added that Chloe is thirteen, and they’re starting to explore the world of makeup, which is just part of growing up.

Trying to reassure her husband about Chloe’s interest in makeup and hairstyles, Julie said it wasn’t a big deal. She explained they needed to choose what was important to worry about, and Chloe needed the freedom to try new things. She finished by saying everything would be okay and they didn’t need to stress over it.

Despite the challenges of raising a young Chloe, Todd is proud of the person she’s becoming. This is especially remarkable considering she dealt with the difficulties of being a tween while her parents were in prison for fraud. Savannah had been caring for Chloe and her older brother, Grayson (who was 16 at the time) when their parents began their prison sentences in 2023.

Todd described his daughter as hilarious and said they have a wonderful, playful connection. He expressed his love for her and emphasized how close they are.

Chloe isn’t the only one receiving lots of love! To celebrate her birthday, Savannah posted a sweet picture of her with a heartfelt message about their close relationship.

I was so touched by what Chloe’s mom posted on Instagram! She said she’s incredibly proud of the amazing person Chloe is and the woman she’s growing into, and honestly, it made my heart swell. She talked about how Chloe makes her feel everything – joy, sadness, and inspires her to be a better person daily. She even said she loves Chloe more than Chloe loves her – and that’s a big statement! It was such a sweet message encouraging Chloe to keep shining, because her journey is only just starting, and it’s going to be incredible. And then she added that there are only three more years until Chloe goes to Bronco! It was just the most beautiful, supportive thing to see.
