Genki is getting ready to launch Tokyo Xtreme Racer on PS5, and the console version will include some extra features compared to the one currently available on PC.
The upcoming racing game, set to release on February 26, 2026, just dropped a new trailer. It reveals three vehicles that will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 version.
I’m so excited for the new update! They’re adding the Honda Fit (or Jazz, depending on where you are), the Mazda CX-3, and the Toyota Dyna. And it sounds like they’re even going to let us drive some of the service vehicles too – that’s awesome!
The PS5 version will feature three new rides, plus a replay mode and a music selector. It also takes full advantage of the PS5’s capabilities with support for PS5 Pro and immersive DualSense haptic feedback.
Genki has announced that the new features and content will also be added to the PC version of the game in a future update, so PC players won’t be left out – it will just be released at a slightly later date.
If you’re thinking about playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer, the PS5 version appears to be the better option, at least for now.
