Tom Brady’s Son Jack Is His Mini-Me at NBA Game

The GOAT brought his kid to the court. 

On April 1st, Tom Brady and his 18-year-old son, Jack, went to a Miami Heat basketball game in Florida. It was a father-son outing as they watched the Heat play the Boston Celtics.

Jack, the son Tom shares with his ex-wife Bridget Moynahan, looks remarkably like his father – and is almost as tall! A video posted on Instagram by the Heat and NBA accounts playfully noted the resemblance, joking that it wasn’t an April Fool’s prank and using a goat emoji to suggest he might be the greatest of all time.

Although the home team lost, Tom and his son often attend professional games together. Over the years, he’s shared photos of his children, 16-year-old Benjamin and 13-year-old Vivian, who he shares with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, enjoying sporting events.

Jack has had the amazing opportunity to meet several NBA stars while spending time with his dad, including New York Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns. Towns shared photos and videos of them practicing together, where he gave Jack some basketball tips and Jack impressed everyone with a slam dunk. Towns jokingly asked if they could be teammates in the future, captioning the post, “Next time we’re running routes?”

Tom Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl winner, enjoys watching professional games, but he’s equally invested in his children’s sports. However, his kids don’t always look for him in the audience during their games.

He acknowledged it’s likely frustrating for his teenage kids that he enjoys watching their games. He shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March that they actually prefer he watch from outside the arena, telling him, “Dad, don’t come in here.”

He prefers to attend events discreetly, usually wearing a hat and hoodie so the focus remains on the children, which he believes is where it belongs.

Now that he’s retired from football, Tom dedicates even more time to his three children, and frequently shares heartwarming family moments.

“My kids are the most important thing in my life,” the former New England Patriots player told TopMob News in 2024. “I cherish the time I get to spend with them, and they make every day better.”
