Good news for fans of Tom Daley’s crafting show! Channel 4 has announced that ‘Game of Wool‘ will be back for another season.
Game of Wool: Britain’s Best Knitter is a knitting competition show hosted by Tom Daley, the Olympic diving champion and a keen knitter himself. The show features skilled knitters battling it out in the beautiful Scottish countryside, completing various knitting challenges to earn the title of Britain’s top TV knitter.
I’m happy to report this show is getting a second season! It really resonated with younger viewers – it was actually one of their most-watched programs for people aged 16 to 34 last year, and that’s a great sign for its future.
Tom Daley is returning to host, and he’ll once again share his love of knitting! He’ll also be joined by some exciting guest stars throughout the show.
Daley, speaking about the show’s comeback, said they were incredibly pleased with how people reacted to the first season of Game of Wool. They noted how rewarding it is to see so many individuals finding joy and inspiration in knitting and starting to create with needles and yarn.
I’m really excited for the show to come back, and I can’t wait to see a fresh group of talented knitters compete.

Di Gilpin and Sheila Greenwell will still be involved with Game of Wool and will continue to appear on the Let’s Get Knitting YouTube channel, which complements the Hello Halo series.
Clemency Green from Channel 4 said the first season of “Game of Wool” was popular, especially with young people who were newly interested in knitting. She added that the second season will feature a new group of skilled contestants ready to compete.
We really took fan feedback to heart, so this season emphasizes knitting even more. We’re celebrating the artistry and ingenuity of knitters, while also adding some fresh and exciting twists to the competition.
Hello Halo announced the return of Game of Wool for a second season. Viewers can expect more impressive knitting projects, competitions with a historical and technical focus, and a new group of enthusiastic knitters competing in the Yarn Barn.
