With the release of initial trailers for Avengers: Doomsday, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been buzzing in early 2026. While much of the excitement centers around that film, fans are also looking forward to Spider-Man: Brand New Day this summer. The movie is highly anticipated and will kick off a fresh storyline for Tom Holland as Peter Parker. As fans wait for the first trailer, Holland has shared his appreciation for the film’s crew and the positive experience of making the movie.
I just stumbled across a really heartwarming thank you letter Tom Holland wrote to the crew of the new Spider-Man film, Brand New Day, now that filming has wrapped. He calls it the most creatively satisfying experience of his career, and genuinely praises the incredible work everyone put in. I’ve included a full transcript of the letter below, and it’s a lovely read!
I’m really sad to see this project end. It’s been a lot of hard work, but I’ve truly enjoyed working with each of you every day. This has been the most creatively rewarding filming experience of my career, and I’m so grateful for your dedication, talent, and kindness – it’s been a pleasure being part of this team. I’ve loved all the laughter and hope we get to work together again soon. This movie wouldn’t be what it is without your contributions. Thank you all so much, from the bottom of my heart, and I look forward to seeing you on the next project.

Will The Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Release Soon?
Tom Holland has starred in huge films like the Avengers series and this summer’s The Odyssey, so it’s a big statement when he calls his upcoming film, Brand New Day, his most satisfying project to date. While he’d never say anything bad about a movie he’s in, his enthusiasm for Brand New Day is still exciting. Adding to the anticipation, the film will also feature Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, and Sadie Sink in an unknown role, giving fans a lot to look forward to.
What makes Brand New Day stand out is its focus on smaller, local stories, similar to classic Spider-Man tales where he’s a relatable hero protecting his city. This is a departure from many of Tom Holland’s previous Marvel movies, and likely contributed to his enjoyment of this project. As a result, fans are excited to see what the story holds and are eagerly awaiting the first trailer.
With about six months still to go before Brand New Day comes out, Marvel and Sony have plenty of time to start promoting the film. Studios usually begin marketing big movies far in advance to create buzz and get people excited. Because of this, we might see a first look at a Brand New Day trailer soon. The Super Bowl on February 8th would be a great opportunity, although some believe Marvel might choose to use that event to share another trailer for Doomsday instead.
Sony knows how to effectively promote their Spider-Man movies, and they can quickly launch a strong marketing campaign when needed. Looking back at Spider-Man: No Way Home, the first trailer wasn’t released until four months before the film came out, so they might follow a similar timeline this time. There’s no specific date for the new trailer to be released, so fans will need to be patient. Tom Holland’s recent letter going viral isn’t a hint that marketing is starting; it simply shows how grateful he is for the chance to play Spider-Man.
