Tomb Raider: Anniversary Will Not Be Part of Next Week’s PS Plus Update

Okay, so here’s the deal: it looks like *Tomb Raider: Anniversary* is delayed – or at least, that’s what it seems like. Maybe Sony’s just trying to space out all the games they’re adding to PS Plus Premium, you know, to keep things interesting for us subscribers.

Although not announced on the PlayStation Blog, the game was originally scheduled for release on October 21st, as listed on the PlayStation Store. Now, the release date has been moved to November 18th, potentially making it available as part of next month’s PlayStation Plus Premium subscription.

The date might shift once more, but we expect the revised launch to happen next month.

Sony has announced that Tomb Raider: Anniversary will be available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. This was revealed during their recent State of Play presentation.

However, there’s some confusion because billbil-kun, a very trustworthy source of leaks, previously indicated the update would arrive next week, on October 21st.

Although it wasn’t mentioned in the official PlayStation Blog post, fans have discovered that the classic PlayStation 2 game will be available on the PlayStation Store for PS5 and PS4 starting October 21st.

There’s a good chance the announcement about the original Tomb Raider will come next week, coinciding with the game’s 29th anniversary. It seems Embracer Group is planning to make the reveal. That’s a likely scenario.

We’re continuing to check the PlayStation Blog for any changes to this information, and we’re also watching to see if the release date is removed from the game’s PlayStation Store page. We’ll share any new details we discover.
