Tommy Lee Jonesand his family are experiencing an unfathomable tragedy.
I was so saddened to hear the news about Victoria Jones, daughter of the wonderful actor from Men in Black. She tragically passed away on New Year’s Day in a San Francisco hotel. She was only 34 years old, and according to reports, law enforcement is investigating. It’s just a heartbreaking loss.
The cause of Victoria’s death is still unknown, and authorities are continuing to investigate.
On New Year’s Day, at 2:52 a.m., the San Francisco Fire Department responded to a medical emergency. Paramedics found the person had died at the scene. The SFFD reported the case to the medical examiner and the San Francisco Police Department but did not release the person’s name.
TopMob News has contacted representatives for Tommy Lee following Victoria’s death, but they haven’t received a response yet.
Victoria, the daughter of Tommy Lee and Kimberlea Cloughley, followed her father into the entertainment industry early in life. She made her first movie appearance at age 11 in the 2002 film Men in Black II, alongside Tommy Lee and Will Smith. Her half-brother, Austin Jones, is 43 years old.
The father and daughter later collaborated on the 2006 film, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.
Tommy Lee mentioned at the time to The New Yorker that she’s a talented actress with a Screen Actors Guild card and fluent Spanish. He explained that when she was an infant, he asked her nanny, Leticia, to only speak to her in Spanish.
Tommy Lee confessed he almost fired his daughter from the movie because she overslept for a 5 a.m. call, but the crew knew she was uniquely talented and couldn’t be replaced.
He explained that the production team woke her up without warning and quickly brought her to the set, just in the nick of time.
Before leaving acting in 2014, Victoria had roles in an episode of One Tree Hill and Tommy Lee’s The Homesman.
