I was so excited to hear that Nintendo just released a demo for Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream! It’s called the “Welcome Version” and you can download it right now from the Nintendo eShop on your Switch. I’m definitely checking it out!
When the full game is released, you’ll be able to carry over your progress from the demo. Plus, players who complete the demo will get a special hamster costume for their Mii characters to use in the full game.

Customize every little thing about your characters, or easily create them by answering a few quick questions. Then, watch them develop their own personalities, make friends, and get into all sorts of silly situations. You might be surprised by what your characters do – they really come to life on their own!
Take Care of Your Community
When you bring Mii characters close together, they’ll begin to interact. You’ll see them form surprising friendships, have disagreements, experience romance, and much more – all on their own!
Get to know your Mii characters by taking care of them! Provide them with food, clothes, and gifts, and offer guidance as they navigate life on the island. You can also teach them new words and phrases, which they’ll start saying themselves!
Shape the Landscape
Build and customize your own island paradise! Add houses, stores, restaurants, and other fun places for your islanders to enjoy. You can even design cozy homes for your Mii characters, choosing furniture, wallpaper, and flooring to perfectly match their personalities.
Unleash your creativity at the Studio Workshop! Design custom items like house exteriors, flooring, pets, outfits, and food. It’s a fun way to personalize everything for your Mii characters!
