Tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw focused on the aftermath of the Survivor Series WarGames event. The show continued storylines from the winners, losers, and unexpected moments of WarGames. By the end of the night, a previously split group reunited, a new contender emerged, and a final match was scheduled to conclude ‘The Last Time Is Now’ tournament. Plus, one WWE star had a particularly important moment. Let’s start with who John Cena will face in his last match.
5. HIT: Last Time Is Now Winners Were the Right Choices
The semifinals of The Last Time Is Now featured Jey Uso against LA Knight and Gunther versus Solo Sikoa. By the end of the night, LA Knight and Gunther earned their spots in the final match. This sets up a very exciting final, and a potential career-defining victory for Knight. The crowd was intensely engaged throughout both matches, with dueling chants for Sikoa and Gunther, and a strong reaction to Knight, who also helped create a memorable moment for Jey Uso.
4. HIT: Jey Uso Crashes Out
Jey Uso has been a frequent topic of discussion among wrestling fans for the past year, with many suggesting he become a villain, or ‘heel.’ While he consistently receives a strong, positive reaction from live audiences, WWE appears to be hinting that a change in his character might be coming soon.
Following his tournament loss to Knight, Jey needed a moment to himself before exiting the ring. He then became increasingly frustrated, culminating in him angrily throwing down the Prime display. During a backstage interview, he shut down and abruptly left after being asked about Roman Reigns’ comments. While Jey didn’t officially switch sides tonight, a change in character seems likely soon, and if handled well, could be exactly what he needs to revitalize his career.
3. The Women’s Tag Team Division
The Women’s Tag Team division is currently full of incredibly talented performers, and WWE is doing a great job of using that to create exciting feuds. Tonight’s show made the tag team titles feel significant, and the match featured a fantastic lineup of stars – Judgement Day, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky – all competing for a chance to challenge the current champions, the Kabuki Warriors.
The current storylines involving Lyra and Bayley are really well-integrated, and Asuka and Kairi are delivering some of their best performances yet, both in character and on the microphone. This division feels complete, with everything developing naturally – something that hasn’t always been the case with the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Honestly, any of these teams would be a great choice to win the titles, and that really shows how competitive things are right now.
2. HIT: The Judgement Day Restored
Despite Liv Morgan’s recent injury, The Judgment Day has remained a dominant force on Raw. Now that Morgan is back and performing strongly, their control over the show is firmly re-established. This was clear throughout tonight’s Raw, with Dominik still celebrating his victory over Cena, and Morgan directly challenging Stephanie Vaquer, hinting at a future pursuit of the Women’s World Championship.
Things got even tougher for Judgement Day’s rivals as the night went on. Roxanne Perez and Morgan resolved their differences, setting up a tag team title match between Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. Morgan, meanwhile, is now focused on challenging for Vaquer’s Women’s World Title. Despite everything, Judgement Day seems stronger than ever, and surprisingly, they might be entering their most dominant period yet.
1. The Bron Breakker Era Has Already Begun
Since arriving in NXT, Bron Breakker has quickly become one of WWE’s biggest rising stars, and it’s been impressive to see him develop into the dominant force he is now. Joining The Vision has only sped up that progress. While he’s always been a powerful performer, his recent promo on Raw really put him in a new league and sparked a lot of buzz.
From the beginning, Bron Breakker showed incredible intensity when speaking, and his attacks on CM Punk felt especially impactful after their WarGames match. He also cleverly included personal details that made his anger towards Punk seem genuine, which made his final statement really hit home. It’s clear that Bron Breakker is a major force now, and it looks more and more likely that CM Punk’s time as champion is coming to an end.
