Okay, so I’m looking for a really good show to get totally hooked on this weekend, and I only have a few days to watch it! I’ve found three amazing HBO Max options that everyone’s been raving about – one of them is seriously popular right now and trending all over the world. Definitely planning a binge-watching session!

The Vallecas Files

The new HBO Max docuseries, The Vallecas Files (originally Expediente Vallecas), tells the true story of a famous Spanish poltergeist case. The three-part series, available with English subtitles, investigates the events surrounding the mysterious death of a 17-year-old that occurred thirty years ago.

If you enjoyed the Netflix horror movie Veronica (2017), which received positive reviews, you might like The Vallecas Files. This HBO Max true crime series explores the same chilling case and is a great option if you’re looking for something spooky to watch after Halloween.

Alex Vs ARod

Baseball fans will be interested in the new HBO Max miniseries, Alex vs ARod, which began streaming this weekend. The first episode was released on Thursday, November 6th, and new episodes will be available each Thursday for the next two weeks, totaling three parts.

HBO’s new series, Alex vs ARod, offers an intimate look at the life of Alex Rodriguez, both as a baseball player and a public figure. Looking for a great show to watch this weekend? You can’t go wrong with Enlightened. This HBO series, starring Laura Dern and Luke Wilson, was a critical and audience favorite, earning an 87% rating from critics and an 89% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. It was also nominated for 2 Emmy Awards.

Mike White, the creator of the popular HBO series The White Lotus, also brought us Enlightened.
