I’ve been keeping up with what’s new on Paramount+, and this week, December 15th to 19th, 2025, has some real standouts! There are five shows everyone’s talking about – a mix of shows critics love, things that are blowing up online, and a few hidden treasures fans are obsessed with. Honestly, the number one show is incredible – a lot of people, myself included, think it’s a perfect 10 out of 10!

Every Monday, Ebaster releases its official guides to help you find the best shows on Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, and HBO Max. And right now, you can find incredibly addictive shows to binge-watch on Paramount+.

Broad City

Broad City is a comedy that hilariously and surprisingly portrays the everyday lives of two women navigating New York City.

With a Paramount+ subscription, you can enjoy popular shows like those from Taylor Sheridan, plus a great selection of classic comedies from Comedy Central. One standout is Broad City, a highly-regarded series often called the ultimate millennial buddy comedy.

The hilarious and highly-rated series Broad City, created by and starring Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, launched the careers of comedians Hannibal Buress and Paul W. Downs. If you’re looking for a funny, classic show from the 2010s to watch, all five seasons are now available for a binge-worthy experience.

The Agency

A secret CIA operative is called back to headquarters, forcing him to leave his assumed identity behind. But when a past love unexpectedly resurfaces, old feelings are rekindled.

Currently streaming on Paramount+, The Agency: Central Intelligence (formerly known as The Agency) is a well-regarded political drama that doesn’t get enough attention. Its first season, which debuted in 2024, received a good audience score of 77% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Starring Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, and Richard Gere, The Agency is a gripping spy thriller set within the world of the CIA. The show boasts a strong cast and an intricate storyline, and with a second season already greenlit by Paramount, it’s a must-watch for fans of the genre. This 10-part series is both sophisticated and sweeping in scope.

House Of Lies

A likable business consultant and his skilled team employ any means necessary – even underhanded ones – to impress top executives and finalize major agreements.

If you subscribe to Paramount+, you also get access to many of Showtime’s popular shows, including the Emmy Award-winning comedy-drama House of Lies. Starring Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell, this fan-favorite series has five seasons and 58 engaging and humorous episodes.

Looking for a great show to binge-watch this week? House of Lies is a fantastic choice if you enjoy shows with a classic feel from the early 2010s. It’s a hit with viewers – it has an 84% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes – so you’re practically guaranteed a good time.

Mayor Of Kingstown

In Kingstown, Michigan, the McLusky family wields considerable influence, navigating issues of systemic racism, corruption, and inequality. The town’s economy largely depends on the prison system, making incarceration its primary business.

While Landman is currently the most popular show on Paramount+, Mayor of Kingstown is proving itself to be one of the best crime dramas available, and possibly the best of 2025. Created with Taylor Sheridan and executive produced by Dave Erickson (known for Sons of Anarchy), the show has significantly improved, with its fourth season being a standout success.

With Jeremy Renner, known for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, leading the cast, Mayor of Kingstown is a gripping and intense crime drama that’s quickly become a fan favorite. The show is currently in its fourth season, with 8 episodes available now, making it a great choice for a weekend binge. You’ll be able to catch up before the season finale airs on December 29th.

Fellow Travelers

This story follows the decades-long, passionate, and often turbulent relationship between Hawk, a driven and charming political aide, and Tim, a hopeful and principled one. Their love story unfolds against the backdrop of the politically charged and prejudiced atmosphere of the 1950s Lavender Scare.

The series Fellow Travelers didn’t seem to get the attention it deserved before it ended. It’s based on a popular novel and tells the story of a decades-long romance between two men, set against the backdrop of how LGBTQ+ people were treated in America from the mid-to-late 20th century.

With stellar performances from Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey, Fellow Travelers has received high praise, earning a 90% score on Rotten Tomatoes and three Emmy nominations, including acting nods for both Bomer and Bailey. This 8-episode series is a top pick for binge-watching on Paramount+ this week.
