Top 5 Tips & Tricks for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance

Okay, so Blue Protocol: Star Resonance can be a little confusing when you first jump in – trust me, I felt the same way! There are *so* many things to do and ways to build your character, it’s easy to get lost. But don’t worry, I’ve put together a guide to help you make the most of your time and really power up your character. I’ll walk you through everything you need to know!

#1 – Don’t Rush, Have Fun

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance has a lot of restrictions that limit how quickly you can progress. These ‘time gates’ prevent you from playing as much content right away. For example, you’ll likely only reach around level 20 on your first day, and maybe level 25 the next. Essentially, these gates control how fast you can level up and experience the game.

So, there is no need to rush. Take your time each day and have a good time playing the game.

Tips

  • You do not need to min-max gear off the start. You may be able to get a couple of level 40 pieces in the first dungeon; however, they will be quickly replaced by level 60 gear a little down the road.
  • The essential items you need to do every day to ensure you are keeping pace only take between 1 to 2 hours.

Sidequests

Should you do sidequests?

No, sidequests aren’t really worth the effort. While they do give experience points, you don’t need them to reach the maximum level of 60. They might help you level up a little faster, but other players will quickly catch up. Considering the time they take, sidequests aren’t as rewarding as focusing on daily and main quests.

#2 – Do your Daily Quests

Season Pass

You can find your Season Pass Daily Quests by clicking the Seasonal Hub tab. It’s a good idea to check these out when you first start playing.

Each day, you’ll find a daily quest called “Unstable Space.” To start it, open the party finder and select the “Unstable Space” tab. A new dungeon will appear there every day that you need to complete.

Select ‘Auto-Match’ and then choose ‘Become Captain’. After waiting in the queue, you’ll be able to play the dungeon, which usually takes just a few minutes to finish.

Guild

You will want to visit the Guild Hall and speak with Laura. This will give you Guild EXP.

Explore the area and you’ll find a Cargo Administrator. Speaking with them completes your daily Guild cargo quest for the season.

You’ll earn Guild Tokens, which you can use to purchase essential resources. You can also trade items with the Cargo Administrator to get more Luno and Guild Tokens.

Each week, you can use Guild Tokens to buy useful items, such as Focus Potions, from the Grocery Administrator located on the Guild’s top floor.

#3 – Mystery Shop

Head to the in-game cash shop and then the Mystery Store. You can use the in-game currency you’ve earned to purchase resources there. Here’s what I recommend buying each day if it’s available in the store.

  • Skill Book – One of the most important resources to buy and have until Core skills are maxed out.
  • Starforge Crystal level 1 – Buy this only until all of your gear is level 10.
  • Starforge Crystal level 2 – Buy until all of your gear is level 20.
  • Mech Shard – Increases refinement chances.
  • Luno – (Late game) Only buy if you are going for level 7 gem.
  • Star Chest – Do not buy unless you have a TON of spare rose orbs.

#4 – Use the Handbook and Feature Menu

The Handbook

This handbook is a really helpful tool. Let’s break down its two main sections: the Manual and the Preview.

The Manual

This guide explains the best ways to play and what you can accomplish each day. It shows you how to advance in the game, which is especially helpful for beginners who aren’t sure what to focus on next.

They also give great rewards, such as Skill Books.

The Preview

The Preview feature lets you see upcoming features and events, and tells you exactly when they’ll be available. This helps you plan your gameplay and know what to look forward to!

Feature Menu

The Feature Menu helps you stay on track with your daily and weekly goals. It marks off completed tasks, so you can quickly see your progress and easily check what still needs to be done.

Leisure Activities are essentially optional missions that reward you with valuable items. Alternatively, you can simply enjoy them as a way to pass the time and experience more of the game.

#5 – Do your Trial Path and Talent Quests

These are both extremely important and should not be overlooked in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance.

Trial Path

You can find your Trial Path in the Guild Hall by speaking with Anna, the Trial Path Administrator. Completing these challenges is essential – they reward you with talent points and allow you to unlock abilities in your talent tree.

Choose the tab that corresponds to your character’s role: Strength for Damage Dealers (DPS), Guardian for Tanks, or Support for Support characters.

Talent Quests

You won’t find Airona on your map, but she’s located near the entrance to town on the right. She offers a quest that rewards you with a talent point. This is the one sidequest you absolutely need to finish.

That covers all our tips for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance! Following these suggestions will help you get the most out of the game and build a powerful character. It’s a good idea to make these things habits now, no matter where you are in the game, to keep your experience fun and satisfying.
