A major hit from 2024 – one of the five best-selling Nintendo Switch games – is now available on the new Switch 2 console. Ever since the Switch 2 launched in June 2025, players have been wondering which games would be updated for the new system. We’ve already seen impressive upgrades for titles like Super Mario Party Jamboree, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom. Now, a highly anticipated game has finally made the jump to Nintendo’s newest console.
The highly anticipated Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is now available on the Nintendo Switch 2, launching on November 14, 2025. You can choose from three digital editions: Standard ($59.99), Deluxe ($89.99), and Ultimate ($99.99). If you missed it on the original Switch, this is a great chance to experience the expansive fighting game, which features over 180 characters from the entire Dragon Ball series.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Is Available Now on the Nintendo Switch 2
This game includes a wide variety of fighters from across the entire Dragon Ball universe, including characters from Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, and the movies. The graphics look amazing on the Switch, and they’ve been improved even more for the Switch 2. The 3D battles are visually impressive, with tons of different fighting moves, quick attacks, beam clashes, and incredibly fast action. You can play with up to six people on one console, or connect multiple consoles wirelessly for even bigger battles.

As a huge Dragon Ball fan, I’m loving Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero! The story mode is really exciting and full of action. It’s awesome being able to watch iconic fights play out in cutscenes, but even better is getting to play through them as eight different characters. The game was a massive hit right away – over 3 million copies sold in just the first day! As of May 2025, it’s already over 5.4 million! And now that it’s out on the Switch 2, I expect those numbers to climb even higher. Get ready to see a lot of new faces online, because this game is seriously addictive!
It’s no surprise that Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is now available on Switch. Leaks back in March 2026, as reported by ComicBook, hinted at its upcoming release, and further leaks in April strongly suggested it would include downloadable content. While the standard version of the game on Switch 2 doesn’t include that extra content, you can get it all by purchasing the Deluxe or Ultimate editions. A Premium Edition is available on other platforms, but not yet on Switch 2. If you’re looking for a great fighting game to play on your Switch 2, Dragon Ball: Sparking!
