Apogee Entertainment and Trigger Happy Interactive have announced that a new update called “New Game+” will be available for their psychological survival horror game, Total Chaos, on March 2nd.

New Game+ dramatically expands on Total Chaos with a chilling new story, an alternate ending, and areas you haven’t seen before. But beware – a relentless stalker, known as The Hunter, will be pursuing you throughout your playthrough.
You thought it was over? Think again.
After you finish the game, you unlock New Game+, which lets you replay the first seven chapters of Total Chaos. These areas are now much more challenging, and the game culminates in a completely new final chapter called “Chapter 8: Reckoning.” Each chapter starts with a warning that something dangerous has been released. Once The Hunter locks onto his prey, he can’t be stopped. To survive, you’ll need to be quick, pay attention to your surroundings, and make smart choices under pressure.
New Game+ isn’t meant to be easy. Expect tougher enemies, fewer supplies, and severe penalties for mistakes. It’s a much harder experience designed for players who want the ultimate challenge – a truly relentless test of skill that continues to punish you even when things seem hopeless.
New Game+ doesn’t just make the game harder; it also adds to the story. It includes a brand new ending that continues the narrative past the original finale, giving players a deeper understanding of why the main character went to Fort Oasis and the significance of their journey.
Total Chaos is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.
