Stoic Studios’ action RPG, Towerborne, is now fully released! After a period in early access on PC, the game is officially available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
If you haven’t heard about it yet, this is a cooperative side-scrolling game set in the fictional City of Numbers. The name is a bit of a twist, as the city is home to the last of humanity, who are being attacked by a mysterious shadow. Only you and a team of heroes called the Aces can fight it. These Aces each have unique abilities and roles, so you can find one that fits how you like to play. You can try them all out in the Belfry, which serves as the game’s main hub.
While it took effort, the full release of Towerborne is here and offers a complete story along with a truly difficult Brutal Mode. Players who’ve been with the game since early access will find plenty of new, challenging endgame content, including the option to start a new game with Brutal rules and explore fresh biomes.
Check out the trailer below and decide if this one is something you can see yourself playing.
