Toy Story Makes Disney Lorcana Debut (And More Pixar Favorites Are On The Way)

As a Disney Lorcana player, I’ve been loving seeing all the characters from different franchises show up in the game! While Ravensburger has added a bunch of new ones over the last couple of years, there were definitely some big names missing – but I never gave up hope! I’m so hyped to announce that Toy Story is *finally* coming to Lorcana! We’ve gotten our first glimpse of the cards and release info, and the best part? Even more Pixar characters are confirmed to be on their way. It’s awesome!

Ravensburger recently shared more details about its upcoming Disney Lorcana set, *Whispers in the Well*, which is scheduled for release next month and will feature characters from *Gargoyles*. Fans also got a first look at the debut of *Toy Story* characters in the next set, *Wilds Unknown*, arriving in the second quarter of 2026. The sneak peek revealed that Woody and Buzz Lightyear will both appear, and even more Pixar characters are coming, including Sid from *Toy Story* and Mei from *Turning Red*.

It’s Finally Pixar’s Time to Shine in Disney Lorcana

The artwork reveals that Woody and Buzz Lightyear are the first characters from *Toy Story* to appear in *Disney Lorcana*. Promotional materials also suggest that the villain, Sid, will be included in the set. The *Wilds Unknown* set will be set in a beautiful jungle, and both Woody and Buzz have slightly altered outfits to fit the new environment.

When you think of *Toy Story*, several characters immediately come to mind as likely candidates for the first set of figures. Classics like Bo Peep, the Little Green Aliens, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, Hamm, Rex, Slinky Dog, Lenny, the Army Men, and RC Car are all fan favorites, mostly from the original two movies. And from the newer films, additions like Combat Carl, Forky, Duke Caboom, Ducky, Bunny, Mr. Pricklepants, Gabby Gabby, and Chuckles would be fantastic to see included in the game eventually.

Like with other Pixar films, there’s potential for many characters to appear, and it seems like more could be added soon. For *Turning Red*, fans are hoping to see Meilin, Abby, Priya, and Miriam again. They also want to see characters from *Soul* (Joe Gardner, 22, and Jerry), *Elemental* (Ember, Wade, Gale, and Clod), and the entire cast of *Inside Out* – Joy, Anger, Sadness, Fear, and Disgust.

The next set, *Whispers in the Well*, will bring Gargoyles to *Disney Lorcana* and continue the game’s overall story with new characters and features. We’ll also see the debut of *Black Cauldron* cards, alongside many of the classic characters you already know and love.




As a Lorcana player, I’m really hyped about the new ‘Whispers in the Well’ set! Elaine Chase, the head of the studio, said it builds on everything people loved about ‘Fabled’ and kicks off the next big story arc for the game. Honestly, I’m most excited about the Enchanted cards – they look incredible, and I can’t wait to collect them. Plus, I’m already planning out some new decks to show off my favorite Disney stories. It’s awesome to see the game bringing those stories back to life!



The next set of Disney Lorcana cards, *Whispers in the Well*, comes out on November 14th, with early access events starting November 7th. *Winterspell* will have pre-release events on February 13th, 2026, before its official release on February 20th, 2026. The set *Wilds Unknown* is planned for release sometime in the second quarter of 2026.
