Trading Card Collectors Can Now Instantly Grade, Trade, & Sell Cards Online

For decades, trading cards have been popular collectibles, and games like Pokemon have recently become incredibly popular again. While you can still buy cards at local shops and big stores, more and more sales are happening online. Now, a new partnership between The Authority and Upper Deck e-Pack is making online card buying and selling even simpler, with the added convenience of immediate card grading.

Launched in 2016, Upper Deck e-Pack lets sports and trading card game fans open packs of cards digitally. These aren’t just digital images – they’re real cards you can trade or have physically shipped to you. Now, Upper Deck e-Pack is partnering with The Authority, a collectibles marketplace, to add instant grading to the experience. Starting with Neopets Battledome cards, players can open digital versions of cards that have already been professionally graded and protected (slabbed), and see the grade immediately.

The Authority and Upper Deck e-Pack Launch New Digital Trading Card Marketplace

The Authority is an online marketplace where people can buy and sell collectibles like action figures, posters, and other rare items. They also offer a service to assess the condition of collectibles, and a new partnership with Upper Deck e-Pack is making things much simpler for collectors. Before, you could connect your e-Pack account and send some items to The Authority to resell. Now, a new feature lets you open and grade trading cards directly on the site. This even includes the option to have your newly bought Neopoets: Battledome cards graded immediately.

As a collector, I’m always looking for ways to get the best value for my cards, and graded cards usually sell for way more because you know exactly what condition they’re in. But sending cards off to be graded is always a little stressful – you’re worried about them getting lost or damaged, and the wait can be forever! That’s why I’m so excited about this new instant grading feature with The Authority and Upper Deck e-Pack, especially since it’s starting with Neopets! I loved collecting the original Neopets TCG back in the day, and it’s awesome that Upper Deck brought it back with the Neopets Battledome TCG. Now, getting those cards graded will be so much faster and easier!

This new feature allows collectors to open trading card packs online and immediately submit qualifying cards for professional grading. Once graded, players can buy, sell, and trade these cards directly within the marketplace, eliminating the hassle of shipping physical cards. If successful, this could significantly change how trading cards are bought and sold. The initial launch with Neopets is just the first step in this experiment, aiming to let collectors complete the entire trading card process – from opening packs to trading cards – quickly and easily, all in one place.

Neopets players now have a faster way to create card decks and find the cards they’re looking for. You can learn more about the new instant grading feature at The Authority. Plus, collectors of other trading card games will find this an interesting development to follow, as it could potentially change how trading cards are collected and valued in the future.
