Following the successful release and positive reception of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter last September, Falcom has announced they’re remaking the sequel, Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter.
The remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, originally released in 2006, is scheduled to launch before the end of September 2026, as revealed in our recent financial report. This timing aligns with the release patterns of our previous titles, like the 1st Chapter. While we haven’t officially announced the platforms yet, it’s likely the game will be available on PS5, Nintendo Switch, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
Next year, Falcom is releasing a new game called The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon on January 15th, 2026. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game continues the story from Trails through Daybreak 2, bringing back characters Van and Agnès. Players can also expect to see familiar faces from the Cold Steel series, including Rean Schwarzer, and Kevin Graham from Trails in the Sky the 3rd.
