It’s no secret that Train Sim World has turned into an annual series. Therefore, it won’t be shocking to hear that Train Sim World 6 is preparing for a launch in 2025, set to run on both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Although many specifics are yet to be disclosed, Dovetail has officially announced they will be broadcasting a live event on the 26th of August, revealing all the details then.
You can hear from executive producer Matt Peddlesden in the video embedded below:
Thus far, the team is planning to reintroduce the complimentary Starter Pack, similar to its debut in Train Sim World 5. This will allow you to seamlessly transfer all your current content into the latest version at no additional cost.
As a gamer, I’m super excited about the upcoming update! It looks like they’ve been tweaking the gameplay for even smoother, more optimized performance. That means better frame rates and overall improvements to the gaming experience, setting it apart from previous versions. Can’t wait to dive in and see the difference!
As for new features, routes, and locos, though, all of that is under wraps until 26th August.
frankly speaking, we’re not overly excited about the speed at which these releases are happening. To illustrate, the eagerly awaited Japanese route Tadami Line was initially planned for Train Sim World 4, but seems likely to debut in Train Sim World 6 instead, which is quite surprising.
With the complimentary Starter Kits, the process of advancing your content becomes quite straightforward, so credit is definitely due to the team for this convenience.
Hey there, fellow gaming enthusiasts! I’ve got some exciting news for us. During their upcoming livestream, Dovetail Games has hinted at making new game announcements. Can’t wait to find out what other surprises they’ve got lined up for us gamers!
