Fans of the show The Traitors might find it hard to accept, but the good news is that there are still three episodes left in this season to look forward to.
According to the BBC, just like past seasons, the final episode will be extended to an hour and a half, providing an additional 10 minutes for the inclusion of numerous unexpected plot twists and climactic moments.
Instead of the usual 9 PM start, the final event will begin on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 8:30 PM on Friday, 24th January, concluding around 9:40 PM.
If you’re still craving more Traitors action, following the main show, there will be a longer episode of the related series, The Traitors: Unmasked, which airs on BBC One instead of BBC Two that evening.
During a 45-minute program, Gamble will chat with each of the finalists, even the ultimate champion(s), recapping everything that transpired in the grand finale. However, it’s still uncertain if the winners will turn out to be Loyalists (Faithfuls) or Rebels (Traitors).
Regardless of the outcome in the finale, it will be quite challenging for any future events to surpass the captivating suspense of season 2, where the cunning Traitor Harry successfully took all the money after persuading Mollie to expel her trusting companion Jaz from the fire pit instead of himself.
However, it’s been made clear that this year’s finale is set to introduce at least one surprise compared to past editions, as Claudia Winkelman revealed a fresh rule during the opening episode of the ongoing series.
In the finale event, Winkleman disclosed that those who reach the final round will choose to conceal their real identities upon departure.
Instead, you’ll have to trust your gut feelings since they will guide you on if there are still Traitors remaining in the game.
This year is shaping up to be exceptionally thrilling, considering we have two traitors – Minah and Charlotte – yet to be unmasked in the final three episodes of the series. The suspense is killing us as we eagerly await the reveal of the ultimate winner!
