Travis Hunter from the NFL, along with his wife Leanna Lenee, have delightfully shared the news of welcoming their firstborn – a baby boy – into their family.
The couple shared the news in an Aug. 27 YouTube vlog posted on Travis’ account titled, “Dear Son.”
The video starts by showing Travis (age 22) and Leanna (age 23) finding out about Leanna’s pregnancy as they reveal a positive pregnancy test on camera. Overjoyed by the news, they celebrate by dancing together in front of a mirror.
Later in the video, Leanna displays an ultrasound image of her unborn child, preceded by announcing that she and Travis (who started dating in 2022) were anticipating a baby boy.
Affirming that she had a sense about the baby’s gender, Leanna revealed the details of a dream she had in which her child appeared as a “little boy with an abundance of curls.
Leanna shared, as she showed her phone screen to the camera, ‘This is the dream I had on February 28’. She confidently stated, ‘I believed it would be a baby boy. How exciting!’
In fact, given that Travis, a first-round NFL draft pick, was set to kick off his professional journey with the Jacksonville Jaguars, it meant that the couple would be rearing their child in Florida, where Travis had won the Heisman Trophy.
When asked if he had a message for his son, Travis told the camera, “Gotta be better than me.”
The video concluded with Leanna giving birth in the hospital, assisted by Travis. As the screen faded out, the sounds of their newborn son could be heard, verifying that he had been born.
Three months have passed since Travis and Leanna exchanged vows at their small, private wedding, and now they’ve welcomed their latest addition to the family.
Leanna posted a collection of photos from their wedding day on Instagram on February 26, 2022, reminiscing about the moment when she first asked you to be her girlfriend. Three and a half years have passed since then, and today, May 24, 2025, I am now your wife. You bring me the most joy on this planet and I can’t wait to spend an eternity with you.
