Travis Kelce Reveals Intimate Bedroom Detail in Cheeky Confession

Travis Kelce won’t have a cruel summer with this relaxing sleep routine. 

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, a new investor in Sleep Number, recently revealed his simple nighttime routine for relaxing before bed.

During the January 28th episode of his podcast, New Heights, Travis explained that he prefers a full-size mattress. He said he likes having the extra space to move around while he sleeps, enjoying being able to roll from side to side.

If I’m awake and out of bed,” the 36-year-old, recently engaged to Taylor Swift in August, explained, “we’re both usually awake and sitting up as well.”

Jason Kelce, 38, mentioned that his wife, Kylie Kelce, likes using a split mattress for their daughters—Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and 10-month-old Finnley—for a couple of reasons.

Let me tell you, this is a game-changer for sleep! A friend of mine swears by it, especially when his wife, Kylie, was pregnant. She loves being able to easily sit up in bed, and honestly, it’s been amazing for my sleep too. I tend to snore, and she can just lift her side of the bed, and it stops instantly – it’s like magic! It’s such a simple solution for a better night’s rest for both of us.

Travis isn’t just focused on getting comfortable at home; he’s also thinking about his football future. The Chiefs had a disappointing end to their season, missing out on the Super Bowl, and their quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, injured his ACL in December.

Travis says these big moments have been special for him, both as someone experiencing them and as a supporter of his teammates.

He said it’s been difficult to step away, especially after achieving so much and setting a high bar for himself. On the January 7th episode of New Heights, he explained he just wants to be a normal person for a few weeks, maybe a month, while he decides what’s next for his football career.

In the meantime, he and Taylor, 36, have been focused on creating their dream wedding. 

Oh my gosh, she said she’s so excited, and I’m even MORE excited for her! She was on Graham Norton, and she totally spilled that planning the wedding will be fun because, honestly, the only stressful weddings are the small ones where everyone’s worried about the guest list. She thinks big is better, and honestly, I totally agree! It just sounds like it’s going to be amazing and fun, and I can’t wait to see everything come together!

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce first connected in July 2023 when Swift’s Eras Tour came to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Being a big fan of Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end wanted to give her a personalized friendship bracelet with his jersey number on it. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to reach her because she was busy getting ready for the show.

Travis explained on his podcast, New Heights, that he was a little upset because Taylor Swift doesn’t speak before or after her concerts to protect her voice for the 44 songs she performs. He had made her friendship bracelets and was hoping to give her one, but didn’t get the chance.

Following his now-famous story about a dropped pass – which Taylor Swift would later jokingly call incredibly cool – Travis Kelce decided to take a chance and invited the award-winning singer to attend a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.

He explained on The Pat McAfee Show that he playfully challenged Taylor Swift. He basically said he’s seen her perform amazingly at Arrowhead Stadium, and now she should come see him perform there to see who gets a better reaction from the crowd. He’s hoping to find out if she’ll take him up on the challenge soon.

Travis had grown a mustache, first showing it off in August at training camp, and that’s how Taylor first met him.

He later recalled that his mustache and number 87 jersey were a memorable look during that time, and he was wearing them when he first met Taylor.

According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Travis and Taylor were casually communicating via text and phone calls by the beginning of September, TopMob News reported.

“It’s been very low-key,” the insider explained, “as he’s been in season.”

Taylor accepted Travis Kelce’s invitation and went to Arrowhead Stadium to see him and the Chiefs play the Chicago Bears, where she sat with his mom, Donna Kelce. After the game, Taylor and Travis were photographed showing affection for each other at a nearby bar.

Despite rumors that they met for the first time in person, the singer of “Karma” explained that they had actually known each other for quite a while before that.

As Taylor noted, “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.” 

To show how serious things were getting, Taylor brought a group of her friends – including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter, and Antoni Porowski – to see the Chiefs play the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Taylor Swift seems to be getting close to Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Travis Kelce’s best friend and teammate, Patrick Mahomes, both at and away from NFL games. This could be another indication that Taylor and Travis are a couple.

The couple publicly showcased their relationship with a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live on October 14th. They continued the fun with the show’s after-party and a romantic dinner at the Waverly Inn.

During his team’s break, Travis flew to Argentina to see Taylor Swift perform on her Eras Tour. At the November 11th concert in Buenos Aires, he connected with Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, and Taylor even gave him a special mention from the stage.

“Karma is that guy on the Chiefs,” Taylor sang, “coming straight home to me.”

Following the performance, Taylor Swift reportedly rushed backstage and enthusiastically kissed Travis Kelce.

Taylor addressed the lavender craze surrounding her appearances at Travis’ games.

It means the world to me to be able to support him doing what he’s passionate about, and honestly, that’s what it’s all about – being there for each other. We don’t worry about who else is around, we just focus on enjoying the moment together. It’s the complete opposite of having to hide a relationship and go to great lengths to keep it a secret.

Taylor and Travis celebrated New Year’s Eve together, and they shared a kiss at midnight as the new year began.

Okay, so I’m completely losing it because Taylor was with Travis’s family again! She was hanging out with Jason and Kylie Kelce at the Chiefs game against Buffalo – it was the cutest!
