Kansas City Chiefs player George Karlaftis recently married his high school sweetheart, Kaia Harris, with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift among the guests at the wedding.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe who was at George and Kaia’s wedding! I saw it in People magazine, and it was the most amazing, dreamy Greek Orthodox ceremony, held right on the coast in this beautiful town called Glyfada. Seriously, a three-day celebration! They had a welcome party to kick things off, and then a farewell cookout – can you even imagine?! I’m so jealous I wasn’t there, but just knowing they were…it’s everything!

After the wedding, George told People magazine how happy he was with their guests. He said they had amazing friends and that everyone really hit it off, making new connections and enjoying the dancing. He added that he couldn’t have imagined a more perfect celebration.

Taylor and Travis recently went on a date, and rumors are swirling that they might get married soon—some fans even think it could happen this summer.

Taylor and Travis haven’t shared many details about what promises to be a magical and glamorous event.

Taylor did, however, reveal she the number one thing on her Wi$h Li$t was a lengthy guest list. 

Taylor Swift hinted to Graham Norton in October that her wedding guest list is very large. She expressed excitement about the planning process, saying that the only weddings she sees as stressful are those with limited space and difficult decisions about who to include.

The 36-year-old stated she definitely won’t be forcing herself to analyze her friendships or end them. She welcomes having as many friends as possible.

Since then, Taylor and Travis, both 36, have been very private about their relationship. She even playfully admitted to Graham that she’d shared too much information.

Don’t attempt to gather information from people close to them, particularly Travis’ sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, who married Jason Kelce in 2018.

Kylie recently addressed the constant questions about whether she and her mother-in-law are planning a wedding. On her podcast, Not Gonna Lie, she explained that while people usually ask out of curiosity, she wishes they’d stop. She confirmed that no details are being shared and that she doesn’t have any information to offer.

It’s hard to imagine Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce having a wedding on a random date; it would almost certainly be a day that’s significant to them, especially to Taylor.

Taylor Swift, a known enthusiast of numbers, shared her love for numerology, math, and dates during a recent appearance on her fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights. The two-hour episode aired on August 13th, thirteen days before their engagement announcement. However, Travis’s father mentioned they had already told close friends and family about their relationship three days prior to the podcast’s release. Swift described finding these kinds of patterns and connections ‘really fun.’

Travis choosing to play another season in the NFL impacts their strategy, giving them until July – when training camp begins – to prepare.

While the Kansas City Chiefs tight end certainly could have found time for a wedding in October, which is Taylor’s favorite month, saying it happened ‘during the bye week’ just doesn’t sound as romantic as if it had happened during a more relaxed period.

Taylor Swift is famous for her close friendships with many celebrities, but she revealed in October 2025 that she hadn’t started planning her bachelorette party yet.

She admitted that people might assume she’d always dreamed of her wedding, but she actually never gave it much thought until she met the person she wanted to marry. She shared this on U.K.’s Heart Breakfast.

“So, I haven’t actually even thought about doing a hen do,” she noted, invoking the British slang. “This is the first time I have thought about that.”

Plus, she added of her gal pals, “They’re so fun but they’re so busy.”

Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with figuring out Taylor’s wedding dress, and honestly, the QUEEN herself, Vera Wang, basically said Taylor’s going to have multiple dresses! And get this – she thinks lace is definitely involved. Like, lace! I knew it! Vera Wang gets Taylor, and this just confirms everything I’ve been imagining. Multiple looks and lace? It’s going to be epic!

Travis is also into fashion, so he’s excited to choose a wedding suit that really reflects his personality.

Okay, so he proposed in shorts – it was August in Kansas, super humid, honestly a genius move – and the internet immediately lost it, demanding he wear fancy shorts for the wedding too! But, like, he’s not about that life, I don’t think. He’s too sweet to try and upstage his bride, who I’m sure looks amazing in her dress. He’d never steal her moment, even if the shorts would be ICONIC.

Taylor Swift jokingly reassured fans in a 2012 interview with Cosmopolitan that she hadn’t already planned her future husband’s wedding outfit. She explained she wanted him to feel like his presence truly mattered.

Taylor and Travis both value family above all else, so their parents and brothers are naturally key people in the wedding. Jason Kelce, likely to be Travis’s best man, shares two young daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, with his wife Kylie. Depending on the wedding date, his younger daughter Bennett might also be a flower girl, though baby Finnley is probably too young to participate.

It will be interesting to see which of Travis’ teammates are invited, but he was a groomsman at Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes’ wedding in 2022, so we know at least one player will be there, along with coach Andy Reid. Plus, he’s maintained a close group of friends since high school, so his bachelor party – filled with golf and drinks – is going to be a lot of fun.

It’s easy to imagine a friend or family member getting ordained to lead the wedding ceremony, but we don’t expect Flavor Flav to be the one doing it.

On the September 17th episode of New Heights, Travis shared his preference for live music, saying, “I think we’re just people who enjoy a band over a DJ, you know?”

Ugh, we knew it, we’re so on the same page.

Even if the bride doesn’t perform herself, she has many friends who are talented singers and comfortable on stage.

We’re particularly hoping Haim will perform, but Taylor Swift jokingly said it would be difficult to prevent Ed Sheeran from also appearing at her wedding.

She explained that Ed Sheeran is driven to perform, saying, “If there’s a stage, he knows he’ll be on it.” She added that he understands his audience and is dedicated to giving them what they enjoy, as she shared during an interview with Hits Radio in October 2025.

Taylor may love Travis so much she’d marry him with paper rings, but that won’t be the case.

On game days, he sometimes wears a sporty, flexible wedding band. But most of the time, he wears the Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond ring Travis chose for his future wife – it was designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.

The ring has a long, central diamond with smaller diamonds on either side. It’s made of yellow gold with a unique, custom engraving, and perfectly complements the $27,300 Cartier watch he used when he proposed.

Just how massive will this white veil occasion be?

Taylor Swift explained on The Graham Norton Show in October that she preferred not to deal with the stress of deciding who to exclude from her guest list. She said making those cuts would force her to carefully consider and judge her relationships with people.

And, she added, “I’m not gonna do that.”

As someone who keeps a close eye on pop culture and relationship trends, let me tell you, I’m sensing a major wedding in Taylor Swift’s future! I was chatting with Nikki Glaser at the VMAs, and she totally agreed – she predicted it’s going to be a really big event. She felt like everything that’s happened so far has been building up to this moment, and honestly, I think she’s right!

The comedian pointed out that because Taylor Swift is constantly in the spotlight – essentially treated like a bride every day – her wedding will probably be kept as private as possible.

Nikki said she knows the person just wants to share the celebration with everyone she loves, and she has a big circle of friends and family. Nikki jokingly added that she’s anticipating photos of a helicopter flying overhead, which she suspects will somehow bother the person on their special day.

Seriously, as soon as Taylor and her new spouse are out of sight, I know she’s going to start giving us glimpses of the wedding. There’s absolutely no way she wouldn’t share all the magical moments with us, her fans! It’s just… inevitable, and I’m already bracing myself for the cutest overload ever!
