Travis Scott is trading sicko mode for dad duty.
More than three years after splitting from Kylie Jenner, the rapper behind the song “My Eyes” recently shared some thoughts on raising their two children, 7-year-old Stormi Webster and 3-year-old Aire Webster.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone published on January 21st, Travis Scott (whose full name is Jacques Webster II) explained that when you’re famous, you can’t just disappear or act impulsively like anyone else.
Becoming a father at 34 has definitely changed his life, but he’s proud to see his children already showing traits just like him.
He explained that his children share his own creative spirit. He recently took his three-year-old son (who’s turning four soon) to a Disney Imagineering exhibit, and the boy was fascinated by the robots and new technology, sparking a lot of ideas in his mind.
And while Travis is proud of his kids’ wit, he is strict when it comes to how they develop.
Okay, so I was listening to this interview with someone, and they said something amazing about their kids and AI. Basically, they don’t let their kids use it! And their reasoning? They think if kids use AI too early, it’ll actually limit how much their brains can develop. They want their kids to learn the old-fashioned way – really understand things – so when they do start using AI, they’ll be able to use it properly and get the most out of it. Honestly, it makes so much sense! I’m totally on board with this idea; I want my kids to really think for themselves first.
As he put it, “If it’s doing everything for you, how do you even know what’s right or wrong?”
Kylie has also shared her hopes for her children, especially her daughter, Stormi.
Kylie Jenner hopes her daughter will one day run Kylie Cosmetics. She told BeautyInc in September that she’s working to build the brand into something that lasts for generations, creating a lasting legacy.
Kylie Jenner, who has been dating Timothée Chalamet since 2023, mentioned that her daughter Stormi is already getting interested in makeup, saying, “Stormi loves to play with it.”
