Vicky McClure plays Lana Washington

Lana Washington is a police officer specializing in bomb disposal, featured in the TV series Trigger Point. The third season focuses on her efforts to stop a vengeful attacker who is systematically targeting people. Lana is also dealing with the emotional trauma, or PTSD, from dangerous missions she’s been on in the past, which have deeply affected her personal life.

She previously stopped a dangerous wave of terror, only to discover her partner was behind it. Then, in the second season, a group of anarchists began attacking London’s powerful figures, hoping to overthrow the existing system. Throughout all of this, she’s suffered the loss of friends and family, and the combined stress and grief are clearly affecting her.

Vicky McClure is currently well-known for her role as DI Kate Fleming in the BBC thriller Line of Duty, which she’s played since 2012. Before that, she worked with director Shane Meadows on This Is England and its follow-up TV series. More recently, she’s been in ITV’s Without Sin, the Channel 4 drama I Am Nicola, and the Prime Video series Alex Rider.

Kerry Godliman plays Sonya Reeves

Sonya Reeves works at the Bomb Data Centre, which is part of the counter-terrorism unit at New Scotland Yard. She’s an expert in the chemicals and tools used to make explosives, and her job focuses on analyzing data. She has a close working relationship and friendship with a colleague named Lana.

Kerry Godliman is well-known for working with Ricky Gervais, appearing in both Derek and After Life. While she started out as a comedian, she’s also taken on dramatic parts, like in the crime thriller Save Me and Channel 4’s Adult Material.

Nabil Elouahabi as Hass Rahim

Hass Rahim was part of Lana’s team in the first season and temporarily took over as leader when she was away. Despite their playful teasing, Hass and Lana are good friends and clearly respect each other.

Nabil Elouahabi is known for his roles in films such as Ali G Indahouse and The Sum of All Fears. Many viewers of the soap opera EastEnders will remember him as Tariq Laroussi, a character he played from 2003 to 2005. More recently, he’s appeared in the TV series Our Girl, Breeders, Time, The Tower, and Blue Lights.

Eric Shango plays Danny

Danny is Lana’s trusted partner on the ‘expo’ squad. He joined the Metropolitan Police as a new recruit in season 1 and was still learning the ropes. Now, he’s much more self-assured, but his recent marriage has made him reconsider if he wants to continue working in such a dangerous job.

Eric Shango started his TV career with Trigger Point. Since then, he’s appeared in the Apple TV thriller Suspicion and the Channel 4 series On The Edge.

Natalie Simpson as DS Helen Morgan

Detective Sergeant Helen Morgan is a police officer with the Metropolitan Police, introduced in the show’s second season. She previously had a romantic relationship with Thom Youngblood, who was also known to Lana, which created tension between Helen and Lana, especially after Thom’s death. They haven’t fully resolved their issues related to this.

Besides her work on stage, Natalie Simpson has appeared in the TV show Outlander, the miniseries Les Misérables, and North Sea Connection.

Maanuv Thiara plays DCI Amar Batra

DCI Amar Batra is Lana’s new supervisor, having just been promoted. He’s still working to establish himself in the role, and he and Lana don’t see eye-to-eye on how to handle their current case.

You might recognize Maanuv Thiara from his roles in shows like Prime Target on Apple TV+, the Channel 4 comedy Generation Z, the crime drama DI Ray, or Sky’s Landscapers.

Mark Rowley plays Rich Manning

Rich Manning is the newest member of Lana’s explosives team. He’s known for being a bit of a jokester, but underneath the humor, he’s struggling with difficult experiences from his past.

Mark Rowley is most famous for playing Finan in The Last Kingdom. He’s also recently appeared in popular shows like One Day on Netflix, SAS Rogue Heroes on BBC, and Karen Pirie on ITV.

Jason Flemyng plays Steven Wyles

Steven is a puzzling figure believed to be behind a dangerous plan involving explosives.

Besides his recent work in shows like Pennyworth, Prime Target, and The Walk-In, Jason Flemyng is also well-known for his roles in films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and X-Men: First Class.
