Trisha Paytas Reveals Shocking Name She Almost Gave Her Son Aquaman

Trisha Paytas nearly dove into different waters when choosing her son’s name.

In her announcement of their third child, a baby boy named Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon, the YouTube personality disclosed that she and her spouse, who loves all things aquatic, were considering another name derived from one of his poems as well.

Trisha shared during her July 22nd podcast episode that although the name we almost chose for the baby wasn’t a movie poster, she adored it immensely. She revealed it to be none other than ‘Water Snake,’ a poem by Moses.

Furthermore, the 37-year-old, who is a parent to Malibu Barbie (age 2) and Elvis (aged 13 months), along with Moses, clarified that the chosen name held significance for several reasons.

Trisha went on, “I’m fond of ‘Water Snake’. This year is the Year of the Snake for me. Moses resembles a snake to me. Just as we enjoy water, I appreciate ‘Water World’, the movie. And I adore the name ‘Water’.

Plus, she added, “At the end of the day, Moses loves water, I’ve adopted his philosophy.” 

Initially, Trisha and Moses pondered over names like Paper Mate, Aladdin, and Moses Jr., but their hearts eventually gravitated towards the name Aquaman.

Trisha mentioned that she’s been sporting Aquaman T-shirts since the release of Justice League in 2017. She’s attended numerous Comic Cons for Aquaman and her affection for him grew even more when they rewatched Aquaman again.

Indeed, the influencer diligently viewed every version of “Aquaman,” even the animated ones, in a quest to uncover all intricate details relevant to her child’s storyline. The depth of the connections she found was comparable to the vastness of the ocean itself.

She remarked that he’s a mix of two cultures, similar to our newborn,” she said. “He embodies the combination of land and sea, mirroring Moses’ role at Benihana. He communicates with fish mentally. Interestingly enough, our Aquaman actually has blonde hair.
