At noon Eastern Time, Donald Trump’s Swearing-In Ceremony begins, marking the start of his second term as president. After taking the oath of office, President Trump will deliver a speech to the nation. Later on in the night, he plans to attend three inaugural balls.

On January 20th, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time, Donald Trump will be sworn into office. Last week, the president-elect revealed that his Inauguration Speech would occur indoors due to the severe weather conditions resulting from the cold front moving across the nation, often referred to as an “Arctic blast.
Trump stated that he has decided to deliver the Inauguration Address, along with prayers and other speeches, within the United States Capitol Rotunda, similar to what Ronald Reagan did in 1985. He made this choice also due to the extremely cold weather conditions.
As reported by NPR, notable technology leaders such as Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Sam Altman, and TikTok’s CEO Shou Zi Chew are expected to be in attendance at Trump’s inauguration. Additionally, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng has been confirmed to participate in the ceremony as well.
