Ned Fulmer is sharing insight into a personal challenge.
Former Try Guys member Ned Fulmer has shared that he’s been privately dealing with multiple sclerosis (MS) for more than ten years. MS is a condition where the body’s immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord, according to The Cleveland Clinic.
Ned, 38, revealed he has multiple sclerosis (MS) in an interview with Us Weekly published on November 23rd, the same day he shared the news on YouTube. He explained that he was diagnosed in 2013, and his first symptoms were numbness and tingling in his hands that gradually spread to his arms, chest, and back.
The YouTuber said his doctor told him to come back if his condition got worse, and unfortunately, it did—very quickly.
After waking up one day and finding he couldn’t stand or walk, Ned had an MRI. The scan revealed the disease had begun to spread to his chest and back.
He described the experience as completely unexpected and overwhelming. He’d been healthy and active, enjoying sports and physical activity, so the sudden onset of weakness – being able to move his legs in one direction but not the other – was a real shock.
It was tough news, but Ned—father to Wesley, 7, and Finn, 5, with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Ariel Fulmer—quickly prioritized his health. He began receiving steroid injections and a plasma exchange, which he described as remarkable, though intense, treatments to help with the issues in his legs.
He’s now managing his condition with pills taken twice daily, which he finds much easier to deal with than the injections he used to get. While the new treatment has stopped his MS from getting worse, he mentioned that he still experiences some numbness in his hands and forearms.
In his latest YouTube video, he explained that he’s learned to cope with his symptoms by mostly ignoring them. He’s been testing his limits by walking until they worsen, and while heat, cold, alcohol, or stress can sometimes make things worse, he generally only notices the symptoms when he focuses on them.

As for why he’s ready to open up about this long chapter of his health?
You know, I’ve been really focusing on being more upfront about my multiple sclerosis and just starting to talk about it. It feels good to share my journey, and honestly, I’m incredibly thankful to be in remission and able to create content like this video. It’s a reminder to appreciate every day!

Nikki Bella, known from Total Bellas, shared that one of her breast implants moved after being hit in the chest during a wrestling match with Piper Niven in July 2025.
Oh my gosh, she actually said that! I was reading about it, and she told Bella Garcia, basically, ‘It’s fine, we’ll fix it eventually!’ And then, get this, she told the doctor – she was SO determined – that as soon as her divorce was final and she could hang up her boots for good, she was coming right back to him to get everything done properly. She was like, ‘These girls need to look amazing, because they’re going to be getting a lot of attention, and they absolutely can’t look the way they do now!’ Seriously, she’s just the best, always planning ahead and taking charge!

Lupita Nyong’o, known for her role in 12 Years a Slave, received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids—non-cancerous growths in or around the uterus—in 2014, the same year she won an Academy Award for her acting.
She didn’t share her diagnosis until 2025, when she revealed on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with the condition for over ten years.
She explained that growing up, many of us are taught to accept period pain as a normal part of being a woman. This often leaves us dealing with a common issue in silence and feeling isolated.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she’d been hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she’d been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap to form in her abdominal muscles.
Someone messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “You haven’t tweeted in a while!” Suki replied with a surprising explanation: she injured herself six months ago by wearing very tight pants, causing a hernia, and has been afraid to mention it.

The former star of Beverly Hills, 90210 shared in April 2025 that he was recovering from surgery for a nearly ruptured appendix.
Brian shared in an Instagram video that he recently experienced stomach pain which led him to the emergency room. He explained he had a perforated appendix – it hadn’t fully burst, but was very close to doing so.
He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

I was so worried when I saw Racing Louisville’s midfielder go down just a few minutes into their game against Seattle Reign on September 14th. It happened right at Lumen Field in Seattle, and it was really scary to watch.
According to Reuters, the U.S. Women’s National Team player was seen slowly sitting down on the field with a teammate supporting her, before suddenly collapsing. Trainers were immediately called to assess her condition.
After receiving immediate medical attention on the field, Savannah was taken to a nearby hospital for more tests, the National Women’s Soccer League reported. She is currently in stable condition and is alert.

Adam Devine revealed that injuries from a childhood accident – he was hit by a cement truck at age 11 – continue to bother him now.
“It’s been incredibly difficult,” Devine shared on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast in 2025. “I experience spasms throughout my body, and doctors recently told me I was facing a life-threatening situation—within the last year, actually.”
He explained that his pain is intermittent, saying, “My body has a few quirks and isn’t quite perfect.”

A former contestant on The Bachelor went to the hospital because of severe back pain. He said the pain was so bad he had to crawl, and it got worse during a road trip with a friend.
He described a lingering tingling sensation in his knees and toes during a March 2025 episode of his podcast, Trading Secrets. He explained that just a few weeks or a month prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds, but now he can’t even do a single squat or stand on one leg without falling. He compared the feeling to having had a stroke.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Gina Kirschenheiter, from The Real Housewives of Orange County, revealed that her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, had a heart attack in March 2025, but he is recovering well.

In March 2025, the actor from 30 Rock experienced a medical issue at a New York Knicks game and had to be helped out of Madison Square Garden.
Okay, so I totally freaked out when I heard he was sick! But then, thankfully, he posted an update – it was just food poisoning! Huge relief! He said he’s getting better, and honestly, that’s all I needed to hear. I’ve been checking his feed constantly, of course, just to make sure!

In February 2025, the former Even Stevens star revealed she was shot in the face during a birthday outing with her husband, Brendan Rooney. They were on a trip to go clay pigeon shooting when the incident occurred.
In an Instagram post, she explained that she was accidentally shot in the face by someone at a party who fired a gun unsafely. Thankfully, @thebrendanrooney quickly helped, checked her over, and took her to the hospital. She was hit five times, and one bullet came dangerously close to her right eye – less than an inch away.
The Kim Possible actor explained that a small piece of something got stuck behind their eye. Doctors have advised against removing it with surgery right now, and they’ll be closely watching to see if anything changes. Thankfully, their vision is currently normal.
The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving a frightening experience. She shared how much she cherishes her daughters, husband, family, and friends, explaining that facing a life-threatening situation made her realize how quickly things can change. She urged everyone to hug their loved ones often, emphasizing the importance of appreciating life and the people in it.

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, despite its often harsh nature, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier” and receiving critical comments online, doctors began commenting on interviews, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome, a condition often linked to high cortisol levels or steroid injections. This prompted Amy to realize she had been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section. She later learned she had a form of Cushing syndrome that would resolve on its own, which she called “the greatest news imaginable.” She shared this relief in a February 2024 newsletter, thankful to be healthy.

In December 2024, an AHL player suffered a skate cut during a game and needed 25 stitches to close the wound. After his son made a full recovery, New Jersey Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald told ESPN how relieved they were, saying, “We feel very lucky, and I wouldn’t want any parent to go through that.”

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly began having stroke-like symptoms, initially unable to respond when Justin asked if she was okay. She then realized she couldn’t speak, and the right side of her face started to droop.
Although the symptoms eventually subsided, Hailey went to the hospital for testing. Doctors discovered she had a small blood clot in her brain, which they identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack).
Further examination at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). This hole allowed the blood clot to travel to her brain, causing the TIA.
Hailey successfully underwent a procedure to close the PFO and is now recovering well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour.
In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the condition affected the nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it had become increasingly difficult to eat.
Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey later appeared on Good Morning America and said Justin was recovering well, adding that while the situation was frightening and unexpected, he was going to be completely fine and she was thankful he was okay.

As someone who often talks about prioritizing wellness, I was deeply moved by Jamie Foxx’s recent openness about his health journey. He shared that it all started with a really bad headache while he was in Atlanta. He actually asked a friend for aspirin, but passed out before he could take it, and then he doesn’t remember the next twenty days! Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but thankfully his sister, Deidra, insisted on taking him to the hospital. That’s where they discovered he’d experienced a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
He revealed that twenty days after surgery, he woke up on May 4th in a wheelchair, unable to walk. He then committed himself to rehab and therapy in Chicago. It’s a powerful reminder that even the strongest among us face challenges. He ended by saying he was incredibly grateful for all the prayers he received, and truly needed every single one. It’s a beautiful testament to the power of support during difficult times, and a reminder to all of us to cherish our health.

The reality TV star shared that she briefly stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC competition show.
I was so moved when she shared her experience on Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser. She said she didn’t recall much, just the sound of a helicopter and this strange feeling of floating. Then, incredibly, she remembered seeing her grandpa before everything went dark. But then, she saw light again, and in that moment, she knew she had died. It was a profoundly powerful thing to hear her say that.
Let me tell you, I really hit a wall there for a while. I was so unwell, my body was basically starting to fail. Turns out, I had something called rhabdomyolysis, and honestly, it’s your body’s emergency alarm system – a way of saying, ‘Something is seriously wrong, and I need to protect myself, even if that means shutting down.’ It was a scary wake-up call!

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the series, she experienced a severe headache at the gym, followed by intense pain and vomiting. She quickly realized something was seriously wrong with her brain.
A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by bleeding around the brain – resulting from a ruptured aneurysm. She underwent immediate surgery, which she described as incredibly painful. During her recovery, she experienced aphasia, causing her to struggle with speech and often mutter incoherently.
Though the aphasia eventually passed and she was discharged after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had doubled in size, requiring a second surgery. This procedure initially failed, leading to a massive bleed and a dire prognosis. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia is now fully recovered and says she is “at a hundred per cent.”

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, is thankful for the support of her family. In January 2024, she suffered a stroke and her loved ones immediately came to her side. She told TopMob News’ Will Marfuggi that she texted them about the stroke and sent a picture, and they all rushed to help. Cori ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected due to other health issues. She explained that while she could have gone home after the stroke, her lupus and kidney problems were serious. Thankfully, Cori is now recovering well. She says she’s feeling great and has been working to regain some motor skills, but is otherwise doing fine.

Shailene Woodley struggled with her health throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she explained that she experienced hearing loss, debilitating fatigue, and digestive issues. She described a confusing process of receiving multiple diagnoses from different doctors. Determined to find answers, Woodley, who comes from a holistic health background and studies herbalism, sought help from both traditional doctors and alternative healers. This search for well-being lasted for ten years. The physical discomfort led to emotional challenges, including fear of food, body image issues, and a struggle with her sense of self. Thankfully, after years of focusing on both her physical and mental health, Shailene is now feeling much better and considers herself very healthy.
